"Yan isusuot mo??" Tanong ni Riley as she looked at what I was wearing with a scowl on her face. 

Kumunot ang noo ko as I showed her my outfit in video call. "Why, pangit ba?" Nothing's wrong with it naman. I can wear it for work, and it was pretty enough to wear on a date.

"It screams business meeting. Wear a dress!" She exclaimed with a scowl on her face. Naglalakad siya papunta sa classroom niya kaya lumilipat minsan ang tingin niya sa daan.

I rolled my eyes and let out a sigh. "Pupunta ako sa site, Riley. I don't want to wear a dress."

She sighed as well. "Then wear something else. Or magdala ka ng dress for your date. Come on, first date niyo 'to oh. Tapos kunwari tatanungin ka niya kung gusto mo nang magpa-kasal tapos ganyan yung suot mo??" Tuloy-tuloy niyang sinabi, making me roll my eyes as a smile played on my lips.

I snorted, "OA." 

Even though I found her ridiculous, nagpalit pa rin ako ng damit. Kasi diba what if true? Charot.

I went with a white dress shirt that had light brown vertical patterns on it, beige pants and then brown heels. For accessories, I put on a brown belt tapos brown glasses. I also didn't button up the dress shirt all the way.

Tinali ko na rin ang buhok ko gamit ang clamp. 

"How about this?" I asked before opening the camera para makita niya ang suot ko.

"Better!" Sabi ni Riley habang pumapalakpak but after a while, she groaned. "I miss your past outfits though, you look so... Work-y these days." Saad niya bago siya mag-cringe.

"That's 'cause I work now." I chuckled and shook my head. 

I also missed times where the only things I worried about were exams and tasks. Life right now is tiring and I never get my fun, but slowly, I'm starting to find joy in my job like my father had. 

Maybe in the future ang mga librong binabasa ko na ay yung tungkol sa Engineering and contruction, I hope that happens but at the same time, I hope it doesn't.

"Goodluck sa date mo later, babe!" Riley said before kissing her phone. "Balitaan mo ako ha, and use protection!" She joked, making me roll my eyes.

I remember the time when I told her I kissed him at silang tatlo nina Daphne at Jasmine tumitili no'n sa kwarto namin. Si Tino naman tumatalon-talon na parang bata.

Seeing their reactions made me feel so happy, pinagalitan pa nila ako nung sinabi kong tinakbuhan ko siya katapos.

"I'll call you later, Riles!" Sabi ko sa kanya before kissing the phone and ending the call. Kinuha ko na ang bag ko bago ako bumaba.

I smiled when I saw Kuya Jerry already waiting for me. 

Ganito na lagi ang routine namin sa tuwing pupuntahan ko ang dalawang sites: He picks me up, we drive to the site, he parks sa mall at magpapalamig at kakain siya roon. Tapos susunduin niya ulit ako sa site then we'd go to Subic.

I was getting guiltier with each day that passes that he still drives for me. Nakakapagod din kaya, so I wanted to learn very soon. 

Maybe papaturo na ako tuwing day offs ko so by next year, kaya ko nang magmaneho.

"Iha, nandito na tayo." Sabi ni Kuya Jerry at may ngiti sa kanyang mga labi.

I gave him one of my credit cards and he hesitated before taking it. "Enjoy lang po kayo sa loob, dami pong pwedeng gawin." I chuckled and he just nodded.

Knowing him, he'd limit himself to food, but I didn't mind if he would buy things he would need. He's like family to me now.

I felt the vehicle stop at bumuntong hininga muna ako bago ako lumabas ng sasakyan. We ended up going home last night dahil naka-isip kami ng solusyon. Time was still wasted, pero there was still progress.
