2 weeks later.

"Love, bilisan mo naman nang konti." Pang-utos ni Theo so I stepped on the gas a bit more but I guess it was too much kaya we were struck forward.

Theo immediately put his arm in front of me nang tapakan ko ang break and I sighed as I put the vehicle on park, "This is impossible!" I exclaimed, getting frustrated.

"You're getting better!" Pag-reassure niya pero si Tati mukhang takot na takot naman sa likod. Theo chuckled, "Right, Tat?"

Tati cleared her throat after she had composed herself at tinignan ko siya mula sa rear-view mirror. Napanguso ako nang makita nanaman ang helmet na suot-suot niya.

When she saw me looking, agad siyang ngumiti pero halatang pilit yun. "You're doing good ate! I promise."

I sighed and rested my head on the steering wheel.  "Maybe I should just give up." I groaned, we've been doing this since 6 in the morning!

"Ate you'll be an expert soon! Don't give up." Pag-encourage sa akin ni Tati.

"Yes, love. Come on, at least you didn't wreck the car this time." Dagdag ni Theo and I groaned as I remembered what happened nung unang beses niya akong tinuruan. We ended up getting the car towed to the casa dahil nabunggo ko yung gate nila. 

Urong sulong palang ginagawa namin no'n! Yung isang sasakyan niya tuloy yung ginagamit namin ngayon.

Umayos na ako ng upo and when they saw me holding the steering wheel again, they immediately held unto the handles.

"Okay... Slowly..." Theo guided and I gradually stepped on the pedal at nagsimula nanaman kaming umandar.

We were practicing in one of the parking lots of their mall right now. Theo had someone block off the entrance of that parking lot for the meantime,  para walang makapasok. But it was still morning kaya wala pang mga tao.

When I had to make a turn, I remembered the technique Theo had taught me a while ago. All of us weren't breathing as I rotated the steering wheel, at nakahinga kami nang malalim when I did it successfully.

Tati clapped her hands from the back and a smile played on my lips. Walang nagsasalita sa kanilang dalawa because they were scared I'd lose my focus. Ako rin ayaw kong mag-salita, I was just so focused on everything I was doing.

Things still weren't smooth-sailing pero I was starting get a hang of it. After a few turns, feel ko pwede na akong makipag-racing, charot.

"Try accelerating your speed, love. Tapos mag-brake ka sa dulo." Theo said when he was satisfied with my turns. 

I pursed my lips before doing as he said. Maluwang naman ang daan so I didn't worry too much about hitting something. Ang tanging pwede ko lang mabunggo ngayon ay ang mga lamp posts.

I sped up a little at nagpasalamat ako because it felt smooth. "Good... Now step on the breaks slowly." He instructed when we were almost at the end at sinunod ko siya.

My breaks weren't as smooth kaya medyo napatilapon kami paharap, medyo lang naman. This time wasn't as harsh as the last time but because Theo kept looking for the smooth break, he told me to do it again.

So I did it again.

"Again."

and "Again."

"Isa pa."

"Last."

"Love, okay na yun." I whined and Tati laughed from the back dahil kanina pa ako pinapaulit ni Theo. 

He bit his lip to suppress his smile. "Isa pa." He said kaya I groaned and drove to the other side, this time, I made sure I was focused on the pressure of my foot.
