*AT LAURIES HOUSE*

JAYDENS POV

Me and Rue went to Laurie's house to give her the money and jewellery that Rue stole.

Me and Rue were sitting on one side of the table and Laurie was sitting on the other side. This lady gives me the fucking creeps

Laurie was telling Rue all about if she had anything to give Rue she would give it to her. As Laurie is talking I look over at Rue and see her looking pale

"Do you um, do you mind if I use your bathroom?"

Rue asks standing up holding her stomach

"Yeah of course"

Laurie says in a very flat tone

Rue gets up and walks away leaving me and Laurie sitting at the table alone

"You do drugs?"

She asks me. At first I didn't know what to say.

But then again if she was about to offer me something I would say yes because I did feel like some drugs right about now.

"Yeah"

I say looking down at the table

"How old are you?"

She asks me. Brooo this lady just freaks me out

"I'm, um, I'm 14"

I say nervously. The woman smiles at me

"Perfect"

She says. I look at her confused

"What do you mean by that?"

I ask nervously

"It's just, most guys I sell girls to, they like the younger ones"

She says, sending a shiver down my spine

I hear Rue throw up then start crying in the bathroom at

"I'm um, I'm just going to go check on Rue if that's okay"

I say nervously as I stand up

"No Jayden. It's okay you stay here, I'll look after her"

She says holding my shoulder and directing me back to my seat

"Oh, um okay"

I say sitting down hesitantly

As Laurie walks off I look around.

I don't know what to fucking do! I can't just leave Rue here

I just sit in the chair at the kitchen table. I take out my vape and take a few hits. Then I start fidgeting with my fingers to pass time. I hear someone walking towards me. I turn around and see Laurie pick up a little bottle and a syringe

"Um, what are you doing with that?"

I ask standing up. I'm scared for Rue honestly

"I'm helping Rue"

She says walking into the bathroom. I hear Rue mumble

"I just want to die"

I push Laurie slightly

"Don't give her that shit!"

I yell. Laurie looks at me in disbelief

"Boys! Come get her!"

She yells. I turn around and see 2 big man aggressively grab me

"Get the fuck off me! Rue! Help me! Stop! Ahhh! Rue!"
