Part 7 meeting the Bat-family

The day had finally arrived the reason the Titans had journeyed back to Gotham, the Wayne Galla was here. There was no time to mess around the dresses were in a pocket dimension which Raven had created along with any matching shoes and jewellery that the girls might need. The boys already had their suits made which were hanging up in their wardrobes fresh off the press.

Raven and Damian had finished getting showered their hair still damp as they put on comfortable clothes and went downstairs to the kitchen and library respectively. Bruce had given everyone the whole day to prep for the event. But that time could be spent socialising which they did in fact the girls spent the majority of the day talking to Selina who was staying at the manor as well she was an elegant and powerful woman who commanded the room much like Bruce himself after all they met when they were kids, however, Selina also had an alter ego named Cat Woman who was a thief yes at one point but now Selina had donated her time to helping Batman on occasion.

Raven liked the woman's company, she was strong, powerful and could read Batman unlike no one else on earth. She was nimble and agile waiting for her opportunity to strike not to mention that she had a very calming presence in the room that also commanded respect.

"So you and Damian huh?" She questioned her voice filled with amusement slightly shocking the empath as she replied "yeah we are together and have been for a while after we recovered our memories after flashpoint". Cat woman chuckled slightly her movements calm and relaxed. "I am just glad that bird finally spread his wings and found someone to understand him. After all, I have known Bruce for years he was a very sweet boy when he was younger a lot like Damian is with you innocent and sweet, it is refreshing to see that he hasn't been totally corrupted by the league or Bruce. Batman darkened Bruce I am glad that being robin with the teen titans has lightened Damian".

Raven blinked slightly at the woman in front of her, her eyes studying her every movement as she asked the question she needed answered: "so what was Bruce like before he became Batman?"
All events about Bruce's past come from the TV show Gotham. I don't own so spoilers! (Italics equals Catwoman's version of what happened in Bruce's past)
"Bruce was a rich kid and I was living on the streets, I saw Bruce's Parents get murdered that night. Commissioner James Gordon was but a rookie cop at the time and he was on the case. He took me back to the GCPD police department for stealing and then I got myself out of the mess by explaining that I saw Bruce's parents get murdered. I got introduced to Bruce he was a well-mannered sweet kid with no experience with girls, one of my fondest memories was the food fight I had in the living room of Wayne manor and I said if Bruce could hit me then I would let him kiss me.

Alfred of course was there taking care of Bruce and he didn't even bat an eye when me and Bruce were throwing food because he saw Bruce being happy. Fast forward there was a lot of drama back then Penguin was but a servant for a lady named Fish Mooney. The riddler was a man named Edward nigmer. Grundy was Fish's old security guard and there was a girl named Tabitha who gave me my whip and I was friends with Ivy when I was younger. The Joker well that one is a mystery".

Raven laughed "Batman was an awkward kid, I would have paid to see that". She said smiling as Catwoman continued "yeah well, he had no experience with girls other than me and Sliver."

Damian entered the room it was about 7 pm and the party didn't start till 9 pm he had been sitting in the library for a while reading his book as he thought about Raven, her face occupied his every thought he loves her and would love her forever he knew that.

He pictured them with Children in a house near titans tower he still had the league of assassins to run but Raven would be his Beloved, his Queen. His demoness was the very reason to keep living and with that one final thought he set off on finding his girlfriend. To his surprise he found her chatting with Selina Kyle the rest of the group had gone to get drinks for the end of the night when they could just be teens who were not bothered by the media or the publicity only normal rebellious teenagers.

So Damian thought him and Raven were the only ones in the manor he was about to leave his beloved to her private conversation when he heard someone say his name he knew he shouldn't have listened but hearing his name, particularly from his father's lover put him on edge.

Damian POV
I was intending on speaking to Raven. God even saying her name in my thoughts makes me realise just how much I love her. I was about to leave my beloved to chat and have fun as seeing her happy makes me happy but when I heard my name dropped my heart began beating faster before I even knew what to do my feet were welded to the floor and I couldn't stop listening I only heard snippets as I was focused on my beloved but I heard the teasing tone in Selina's voice. "So you and Damian huh?" I heard her ask her body language was relaxed and calm as she waited for my beloved's response it was a welcomed warmth to my heart as I heard the happiness in my beloved's voice when she spoke about our relationship. Then Selina began to talk about me her voice showed emotion happiness, sadness and maybe a bit of sympathy as she talked about the Titans had lightened me and how my father becoming Batman made him darker. I had never known how my father had been brought up "what was his childhood like?" I thought to myself but then I realised something my Beloved is entitled to her privacy and I realised that I had been listening for too long. After all, I can wait for my beloved's attention, I am Damian Wayne and I am not desperate.

No one's POV
A few minutes pass the girls are upstairs getting their dresses on along with jewellery and shoes and their makeup is being done by Stephanie and their hair is being done by Selina as they are the only ones who can do makeup and hair on other people and they are also not nervous about the up and coming ball.

"You ready for this ladies?" Selina asks which prompts nods from the others as she smirks,"then let's knock them dead!"

The girls exit their room like Queen's and begin to walk down the stairs like royalty their dresses flowing behind them and their bracelets and jewellery jingling as they make their way down using the bannister Barbara is using the stair lift which is carrying her in her wheelchair, she exits her dress is simple back with a little bit of purple on the chest piece and she is wearing jewellery such as bracelet and necklace with black healed boots. Selina is wearing a long dark purple flowing dress with black heels and her hair is pinned to the side of her head. Her jewellery consists of diamond earrings a simple silver chain and a matching bracelet. Raven is wearing her hair in thick bouncy curls in the style of a Bob, her dress is white and gold with a bit of lace on the chest piece it is long and flowing just like her signature cloak her jewellery consists of bracelets which are gold bangles she also has on a matching golden necklace which has the words "I had to take a chance" engraved on it in a heart-shaped locket. As well as a pair of small diamond earrings and white heels.

Raven is then followed by Kory who is in a red dress with Gold embroidery on the centre it is long, elegant and beautiful she also has her long red hair curled at the end and golden bracelets and necklaces on her neck and arms with a golden ring on her finger.

Stephanie comes out next in her baby blue dress her blond hair was in loose waves and pair of blue flats on her feet. Diamonds adorned her neck and arms as well as her ears. Cassandra, however, had a different style her emerald green dress hugged her curves generously as she descended the stairs she preferred to not wear jewellery except for the simple studs on her ears. Her makeup however was perfect she had cat eye flicks with a perfect black smoky eye. On her feet were a pair of green heels.

The boys' jaws dropped to the floor as they looked at the girls in awe Damian was one of the first to recover along with Dick and Bruce. Each making the first move to complement their dates. Tim was a little bit slower his face was flushed as he looked at Steph with love in his eyes.

"You look divine Habibi." he whispered in her ear she could feel the love and affection from that one comment his breath was near her face as he pressed a soft kiss to her forehead. She replied with just as much intensity "you look very handsome I am afraid that have to do more than glare at some poor girl if she can't keep her hands to herself." She said honestly before letting out one final statement "shall we Mister Wayne?" She said holding a hand out for him to grasp. "We shall my lovely demoness," he said placing a kiss on her temple as he grasped her hand.
