Many people presumed, that Batman was in fact criminal, and while he had a decent fan base in some capacity, they would have never pictured him in this situation; it was laughable!

A dad, an embarrassing father. Who against his better judgment had asked his youngest son about his relationship with a demon, or rather a half-demon. Only to burst into tears, when he realised just how far his son had fallen.

"Father control yourself! Is it that surprising?"

"No of course not Son. I am just surprised that you haven't told her sooner. Besides I am open to getting to know Raven. But, one question I have to ask." Damian stared curiously at him. Waiting for his question, but the conversation took an awkward turn.

"Are you being safe? I am too young to be a grandfather."

Damian sputtered, this was one area of questioning he was not prepared for. He cursed himself, for not thinking of such an outcome or even a response that at least qualified as reasonable.

"Father, my relationship is none of your business. But, to answer your question yes, we are being careful." He uttered carefully considering and questioning his father's intentions. "But, we're not at that point yet, if it makes you feel at ease father."

Bruce smiled, patting the boy on the back. "I'm proud of you Damian."

"Thank you, father. Now if you'll excuse me I have a half-demon, empath girlfriend to update."

Bruce rolled his eyes at his son. He seemed lighter, carefree if that was possible.

"If Raven portals keep the door open." Bruce joked. Causing the boy to glare at him as he laughs to himself.

"Master Bruce, that boy is more like you than I thought."

"Indeed he is Alfred." Bruce chuckled. "Make sure to keep Jason away for tonight. We don't want a decapitated head."

"Of course sir." Alfred stated, drinking his tea with a light smirk. "Master Damian is protective of what's his that is for certain." The Wayne manor butler thought to himself, with a light smile crossing his lips. He returned the cup to its saucer, whistling a happy tune as he began polishing the floors.
