Raven, a half demoness, half human and daughter of the conqueror of worlds, Trigon. She had lived a happy life, after the defeat of her father. The crystal on her forehead was but a reminder of all that she had been through. Her eyes were struggling against the blue light of the laptop screen, the faint sound of clicks as she tapped the keys on the keyboard. She married her assassin. Two demons joined together in holy or rather unholy matrimony. She suppressed the urge to laugh. Her hair flew in front of her face, she let out a frustrated puff of air. Climbing, carefully out of the oak Mahoney desk chair and brushing past her newly made sea of stationary. She looked at the clock it read 12:00.

"Guess Gabby is still out there, recking havoc on nature." Raven thought as she looked at herself in the mirror. She had changed significantly over the years, and Damian had too. Her hair was long to the point where Damian spent every waking moment when he wasn't with his daughter or doing his duties, styling it. She wasn't dressed in her usual hero outfit, instead opting for a simple, purple summer dress and her pendant, which Damian had given her for her most recent birthday, alongside her wedding band.

The ring itself discarded the traditional style, it was black with red rubies; signalling her demonic heritage as it rested perfectly on her wedding finger. Damian's ring was its twin in every sense, except for the tiny difference of an engraving and the jewels were emeralds instead of rubies. Raven twirled the ring, looking at the inside with fondness. She gazed at the inscription as her mind flooded with pleasant and perfect memories, it read "You are the strongest person I know. I love you, Beloved, I am glad you took a chance!"

Raven's engagement ring, on the other hand, was Martha Wayne's engagement ring. It was gold in colour, and it shined from the place on Raven's finger, just underneath her wedding band. With a beautiful, gorgeous, bright and elegant diamond encrusted in the centre of the golden band. It was the greatest gift she had ever received. Well apart from her daughter and unborn son, who was currently kicking up a storm with her internal organs.

"Joshua Richard Wayne, stop playing around with your mother's bladder. It makes me very uncomfortable!" She whispered to her belly scolding her child before adding as he continued kicking furiously against her stomach. "It is not a football!" She almost shrieked despite the fact, that the baby was unborn and could not hear her just yet. Raven's hips had also grown to accommodate their child, and her skin was wrapped in the glow that all pregnant women possess.

The half-demon had also grown in height whilst still being smaller than Damian, much to his amusement. She was no longer a girl and instead a young woman. A loud bang shook Wayne manor. Raven, being the hormonal pregnant overprotective mother decided that it was better for her to receive her daughter before she caused the end of the world.

Reaching the door to her office and stepping out into the long hall, the sound of her husband sharping what could be any manor of weapons now that their daughter, was old enough to at least understand that she shouldn't play with sharp objects. Raven had all but, sectioned off Damian's weapon collection to the bat cave because Gabby had Raven's powers and Damian's temper along with his brains. Which meant that their eldest child, had decided to do what all toddlers do at that age, throwing a tantrum when she couldn't get their attention. The little princess had turned into a raging she-devil in a matter of seconds, the manor never fully recovered and neither did Damian, who sat wide-eyed with the biggest shocked expression on his features.

Raven chuckled, the memory filling her as she pictured Damian also known as Batman being shell-shocked at the thought of his little princess chasing him around the house, with sharped katanas floating above her; almost impaling him to the wall. That day, Raven had ultimately decided along with Damian that their daughter should be kept away from any sharp objects until she could control her emotions so that an incident like that never happened again.
