Warning domestic violence
The wind in her hair was evident as she stepped out onto the Las Vegas city streets. It was a bustling metropolis, nightclubs and bars littered the streets. Raven smiled taking in the environment, this was exactly what she needed, relaxation, fun!The girls stepped out beside her, they to were shocked by the sheer size of the city. People were in and out of buildings as quickly as the lighting the flash produced. The sound of the door opening and shutting boomed in their ears.
"Let's get the hotel sorted first!" Kori suggested the sun setting on the horizon behind her. The girls agreed nodding their heads at the alien.
They strolled past crowds of people, towards the doors of a very fancy hotel cursory of Bruce's endless wealth. Its walls were etched in marble, as they took in the mite of the building, the lobby had comfortable thick couches, with fluffy pillows, with a pale brown coffee table in front. A dark black bar stood in the corner beside the reception, a young bartender stood manning it.
Raven immediately looked over at Kori, she needed something strong if she was going to manage the world of men. "Check in for me please Kori!" Raven begged stepping out of the queue and walking towards the bar.
The bartender looked at her, his gaze travelling up her body, the boy was young, good-looking, but Raven could feel his arrogance slip through his aura. He certainly wasn't anything to write home about particularly compared to her assassin, Raven snorted in her thoughts at the boy's attempt to flirt.
He undoubtedly seemed like the type to expect woman to fall at his feet. Luckily she wasn't one of them, regardless of whether she was in a relationship or not!
"So what you doing in Vegas?" He asked clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth as he eyed her as he polished a glass in his right hand.
"Celebrating my birthday!" Raven said dryly in an attempt to shut the boy down gently she didn't want to hurt his feelings.
"Well then, allow me to offer you a drink, on the house of course. Unless you are expecting something else!" The suggestion was clear and it made Raven want to vomit and laugh all at the same time.
"Oh and I assume you flirt with all your customers". She asked coldly tilting her eyebrow as she looked at him his morals were certainly questionable.
Downing a shot of alcohol which she had ordered, the liquid burned. A pleasant surprise to Raven's demon, who kept wanting more. She downed three more shots in an attempt to dull her empathic powers. She saw the boy lick his lips, and she chuckled. Damian, oh how she missed him, this boy didn't stand a chance.
The bartender recoiled at such a cold outburst. He looked visibly shocked at rejection. He was hoping to score tonight, maybe lure a good-looking woman into his room. Even slipped a little incentive into the drinks to make the female gender a little more open to suggestions.
He chuckled, his laugh was demonic and dark like the darkest scum of hell. Raven glared at him as she began to realise just who or what this man was, a demon of the darkest kind worst than even her father.
"Hello, Tiras..." Raven hissed out, this demon was none other than lust and carnage all melded into one, he was the reason for all the horrific crimes that had been happening and while not fully his fault some women and men could not help but do his bidding. Raven still despised him.
The demon flinched at his lord's daughter not recognising his superior and Raven was more than happy to remind him.
"What, in all the seven hells are you doing here, you better answer me quickly or I swear in god's name that I will rip out your tongue and make you choke on it! Raven yelled violently shaking the bar which her magic had taken control of. Her eyes were of hellfire, as she let out a manic laugh at the demon's show of fear.
It was a miracle that the humans hadn't taken notice of the supernatural horrors going on around them.
"For you of course my queen, after all, I missed you." He winked at Raven as her eyes widened like footballs and her mouth became as loose as a curtain as if it needed to be fixed.
It was as if the past had come back to destroy her where she had stood, she had rebuilt herself after she had been broken like a toy. She remembered everything, the bruises, the cuts and most of all the torture the things he made her do all those years ago.
Tears broke through her emotionless eyelids she had all but abandoned him in the back of her mind like a box collecting dust which had never been opened.
"No... you haven't missed me! You just missed someone to warm your bed! I have a boyfriend who loves and cares for me and is nothing like you, you are nothing but a villain, a cancer that must be wiped from existence. So begone demon!" She hissed out throwing her arms forward and banishing him from sight, as she stomped away, she felt dirty, and violated, as she watched the moon rise.
A single tear slid down her cheek but she removed it. She wasn't that girl anymore and she will never be again. She looked at the moon feeling her own demonic blood boil with strength, he will be back but this time she will be ready, she had the titans, Damian she will never be weak not with them by her side.
She smiled, and went of to enjoy the rest of her girls night it might not have started the way she wanted. But it will end perfectly she will ensure it is never ruined. Not by her past! She is a queen after all...
