(Ballroom setting looks like the picture above except for more tables)
Once the group had arrived at the event which was to be held in the grand ballroom of Wayne enterprises they looked on in surprise the polished clean floors were so shiny that you could see your face in them. The grand chandelier lit up the room with a yellow glow. Tables covered the entrance to the ballroom with a large area for dancing and entertainment.

The Titans weren't the only heroes here by any means Batman had invited members of the justice league who were all in suits and dress and were to be addressed by their civilian names even the younger members like Jon Kent also known as Superboy and Donna Troy were in attendance but the two young hero's clearly weren't happy to be there. Their mouths were in a straight line and they looked as if they wanted Zeus himself to strike them with a lightning bolt to end their misery. Damian presumed that they had been dragged to this gathering by Wonder Woman and Superman respectively.

But, Damian wasn't about to let their sour mood affect him. As he and his family as well as the titans moved to sit in their assigned seats. But unfortunately for the young Wayne, Bruce had decided that he and his brothers and sister must greet the guests. He sent Raven an apologetic smile as he was tugged away from her against his will. She smiled back at him and mouthed "it's okay, I love you," in his direction he took that as his cue to begin his facade as the 'perfect Prince Charming and son'.

Damian's POV
Father had decided to once again turn me into a bargaining chip. As the rich Gotham elite filtered through the door. I was joined by Grayson, Todd, Drake and Cass who all assisted with greeting the guests. Clark Kent was over by the stage along with Lois Lane and Jon Kent sipping his drink. I expected Raven to leave her seat to go and talk to them as they had become close due to the events before flashpoint after we all regained our memories. But to my shock, she simply smiled at me and open up our mental bond talking to me in an attempt to ease my Boredom. I could hear her voice fluttering in the back of my subconscious her voice like a perfectly sung melody to my ears.

"Dami," she says sweetly. The nickname is the one thing that I will never allow anyone else to use. "Yes, beloved." I replied in my thoughts which caused me to be hit with a wave of emotions once she realised she had my attention one, in particular, stood out to me Desire.

I raised an eyebrow at her looking into her deep amethyst eyes simply showed no emotion this would be sufficient to the average stranger that nothing was happening she looked bored to death, but I knew better behind that plain expression was a whole host of emotions laid bare for me to see. Her piercing eyes looked at me with lust. As I responded using our mental connection "well, if you tried to lift my spirits then it is working, maybe a little too well Habibi". I smirked at her as I watched a blush come over her face when she realised what I was referring to it was incredibly cute. I thought to myself that was until I was elbowed in the ribs by a certain Jason Todd.

"Hey Baby Bat, we get it you love your girlfriend. But can you please tone down the tension I can feel it over here." He whispered in my ear as I gave him a glare in response. Luckily for me, my job as a perfectly behaved father's boy was over as I realised that all the people had filtered into the ballroom, father was now preparing his speech with Kyle on his arm so with that job out of the way I was joined by Jason, Dick, Tim and Cass who all walked over to the table with me.

No one's POV
Bruce began his speech his voice full of authority as he spoke to the audience that had gathered around him as he thanked them for the funds that were raised for the new homeless shelter in Gotham city as well as a new animal shelter which was Selina's suggestion. As she stood beside power and confidence came off her in waves.

"Let's get this party started," Bruce says raising a glass in a toast-like fashion. Bruce was the perfect actor his voice showed enthusiasm but in reality, he only really cared about the funds raised for people who were less fortunate at least that is what his family could see.

People began to filter their way onto the dance floor. Damian thought of an idea as a smile graced his lips "join me for a dance beloved?" He asked holding his hand for Raven to take like the perfect gentleman. She accepted, holding on to his arms as he led her to the centre of the ballroom. A crowd had gathered to watch the young Wayne and his girlfriend intending on see who was this girl that the young prince of Gotham was so interested in, pictures were taken, lights flashed but nothing could sway Damian from his beloved's gaze, her eyes were hypnotic like waves crashing on a beach he could get lost in them forever.

They were glued to each other's arms. Raven had her head resting on his shoulder and his resting on her hips and back. As they danced to the music swaying gently. Damian's family watched with hearts dancing in their eyes as they looked at the young couple. The girls cooed, their hearts had melted. Damian even heard Jason whisper something about him being "a lucky bastard," and dick who was beside him whispered, "good for you little D," under his breath. Even Bruce raised an eyebrow the world's greatest detective had a dumbfounded expression on his face he had never seen his son show so much emotion to someone his eyes were full of light and happiness, he looked carefree people would have never thought that he had seen so much death in his short life.

Damian and Raven were living in the moment as Raven broke him from his trance-like state "we have an audience." She said with a slight giggle as she stared into his dark green orbs. His hands were still firmly on her waist as he leaned into her ear "it appears we do beloved, they seem to be looking at you maybe they're mesmerised by your beauty." He said sweetly, his voice was the perfect blend of love and affection while seeming genuine.

Raven would never tire of him calling her his beloved. She may have been a feminist at heart but she wasn't mad at the pet name Damian knew that and the name proved that she was his and he was hers as they fit together like puzzle pieces in a completed jigsaw.

The others began to join them on the dance floor. Dick twirled Kori much like the acrobat he was born to be. Selina and Bruce were also dancing with each other their bodies so close and intimate that people must have thought that they were married a bond that could only be grown by years together both as a friendship and a romantic partner. Stephanie and Tim were also absorbed in each other they let their actions speak for themselves they didn't need words to know how the other was feeling.

They continued dancing much like the ending of a fairy tale when the Wayne ball came to a close as the place was cleaned up and people started heading home. The family simply stayed laughing and joking as drinks were shared between them even Zatana and Constantine were there drinks in hand. They didn't want to intrude on the Batfamily's time but they were talked round Clark and Lois had stayed and even some members of the justice league stayed for as long as they could before their civilian lives dragged them back to reality.

Donna and Raven were talking and laughing along with the unlikely bromance between Jon and Damian blooming. But one thing was for sure they will forever be the Batfamily, messy, broken and dangerous but a family nonetheless.
