Gotham welcomes Raven *dark chapter*

The titans were staying in Gotham for a while because Titans Tower was getting repaired after an accident with a certain alien, blue beetle and beast boy. Let's just say you shouldn't piss off a princess who has star bolts.

Damian and Raven have been in a relationship for over a year and while she has been formally introduced to the Batfamily and they make her feel welcome and accepted she has always wanted to get to know Bruce Wayne better after all he is a complex character and it would make her boyfriend happy if she was closer with his father not to mention the fact that he can hide his emotions from even an empath which made her confused.

So with that Raven made a plan, she was already worried about Damian as it is. Batman was hunting down the Joker which scared her as Damien had offered to join him in taking down the sick, demented Clown Prince of Crime. So she was going to join them on this mission the titans had been helping Batman anyway with his search by patrolling the streets. so she decided to join him much to his delight although he would never let on that in front of his father.

Raven put on her dark purple cloak, it fit her like a second skin she also wore a lot of protective enchantments, as a safety precaution as she couldn't afford to be taken out of a fight. She had been told to meet Damian and Batman on the roof of the GCPD building before they began patrol.

Blending into the darkness as she opened a portal and walked through, it took seconds before she arrived at the GCPD building stepping out on the cold concrete of the roof. She spotted Damian and Bruce both dawning their alter egos as Robin and Batman. Damien let out a small smile when he saw her, she returned the gesture before turning her attention to Batman who gave her a look of shock before she spoke. "I hope you don't mind, I got permission to join you on this mission from Kori and I accepted as I thought it would be nice for you to have an extra pair of hands." She said professionally to the Dark Knight as he just gave her a nod.

His scowl covered the majority of his face as he looked at his son and to his surprise, he looked impressed at the demoness his lips formed a small smile. "That couldn't be right Damian never smiles." The Dark Knight pondered. Before his thoughts continued, "although he is different with her." He thought turning his attention to the streets below as he heard a burst of maniacal laughter that sounded like the devil had just come to earth.

He turned to the two young teens and simply said two words "let's go." He said his voice was ice cold and full of authority and with that, the two heroes and vigilant jumped from rooftop to rooftop toward the manic sound.

Once they arrived and landed on their feet they were greeted by a gruesome and bloody sight.

Dismembered bodies of innocent people of all ages cling to the wall like a bad smell. Their mouths were cut open to form a full blood red evil smile.

They looked partly burnt as if someone had lit them on fire with a lighter. They were crucified to the wall using knives as it seemed to be some sort of message "come and get me bats". It was written in blood, Raven thought she was going to be sick, innocent people were killed with no mercy their emotions hung in the air she could feel the pain and the torture that they went through in their last moments of life.

Her eyes flashed a dangerous red in rage before she got control of herself. Robin turned to her a worried expression crossed his face. "Raven!" He called out to her the red eyes disappeared when she looked at him in their place were her original purple irises. "I am alright Robin, I just felt their emotions from when they died they were so scared and in pain that I lost control of my demon for a second, but you brought me back." She reassured him but a laugh broke them out of their moment.
