Fluffy chapter sorry for the wait. But I currently have no inspiration for welcome to parenthood part 3. I have some ideas but they haven't stuck.
"Love is a peculiar emotion." Damian mused. He watched his fellow Titans rush from room to room in uncontainable excitement. It was their first day off and the couples were all getting ready for their own plans, minus Garfield who was off visiting the Doom Patrol. This left Damian and Raven alone in the tower, the latter was practising her mediation, which helped her maintain control over her powers by providing mental barriers.

He simply chuckled, the assassin had never felt such emotions before. He was raised to be an assassin, unlike his brother who was way too kind-hearted for his own good. Sure, as a Wayne heir he encountered many women, who were in his words, "gold-digging harlots!"

But, as he grasped at his sketchpad, his fingers gripped the edge of the paper. The corners became worn from use. He became unfocused, as he tore through page after page and each one seemed to be of Raven.

The demoness and him were in a committed and beautiful relationship, one which was still fresh, from the looks of the glossy front cover of his sketchbook. It had been a birthday gift after all, which means he would treasure it, anything that came into contact with her precious and enveloping touch was worth the extra care.

But the contents of such an item were even more valuable, at least in Damian's eyes. As he stared down at the book, his hands loosened as he opened the first page. The drawing was a masterpiece, it was a portrait of Raven asleep, snuggling into him like an animal burrowing underground for warmth. Her dark purple hair rested on his lap as she let out small snores, each one causing her nose to shrink as she sniffled peacefully.

"Tt no wonder Beloved has been wanting to see this." He thought taking one of his pencils and beginning to draw. He became lost, and the gentle strokes of the pencil became his only goal. Damian's eyes narrowed as he put pencil to paper, focus and fulfilment engulfing him.

The scratching of the pencil in his hand was the only sound within the tower. It became almost creepy as the lights dimmed around him, and no footsteps were heard. The cheering of his team usually kept him alert. But, they had all scurried off to their rooms, leaving him with his thoughts.

"Damian, what you still doing up? It's midnight." A voice called out, its tone curious.

"Raven?" Damian replied rubbing his eyes as he reached for the nearby light switch. The only light around him was the soft orange glow of a lamp nearby. Soon enough the illuminated room became the only reason for Damian's sudden awareness for the time.

The once bright sky had become an ocean of shadows. The full moon glowed from its apex in between the clouds. As the stars stared down at him, much like the empath who was currently giving him a raised eyebrow.

"Are you ok?" Raven asked cautiously. The empath placed a hand on his shoulder, opting to give her boyfriend some company as she sat beside him, resting her legs on his.

"I'm fine beloved." He answered quietly to not wake the other occupants of this tower. She gave him an uneasy glance before peering at him as if through new eyes, or rather her powers. Sensing his honesty, she gave him a nod and a smile.

Raven caught the glimpse of a sketch, of what looked remarkably like her. She felt her heart begin to quicken. Damian had shut the book so quickly that she didn't get a second look in. Her boyfriend had placed the sketchbook on the table next to him, the one furthest from her reach.

Not knowing how best to approach the discussion, she decided to drop it. Raven's fingers wrapped around Damian, which caused a slight, maybe happy smile to cross his lips. Raven thought he should show it more often.

The room descended into a comfortable silence. Raven deciding that no one was around, brushed her lips against Damian's. He seemed to react despite some shock. He reached over pulling her to him.

"You usually would have headed to bed hours ago, something wrong?" Raven whispered.

"Everything fine. I just lost track of time." Damian stated, pulling his sketchbook back into his arms as he tugged the pencil once more.

Raven peered more closely. Her eyes refused to leave the sight in front of her. She watched the concentration on Damian's face, it flickered between different intervals as he dashed the pencil across the page. She moved closer, intending on seeing what had caught Damian Wayne's attention. The empath stared deeply at the paper, transfixed by its movements.

Damian had bit the inside of his cheek to keep concentrating, which was hard considering she was right there. Raven was sat there next to him with the most adorable expression on her face- he knew she would kill him for saying that, but it couldn't be helped.

She was gorgeous, simply radiant; those electric purple eyes, stared back at him with such affection- he wasn't worthy of such a look, at least in his mind. The assassin put on the final few details; and soon enough, the jewel of his collection was finished.

The cloud over his mind had evaporated, leaving his gaze clear. "Beloved, I know how much you have been wanting to see my sketches. You have been giving me the most innocent look- every single time you are over near that book as if you want to steal it and never let it go!" He stated with a sigh, perhaps he was being over dramatic, but he didn't care.

He found it endearing, the look on her face when he had finally said she could look at the object, was worth his entire life. He saw tears build up as she put her hand over her mouth in a silent gasp.

"These are beautiful Damian! I only wanted to see them so that I could see what makes you so happy. How have you captured me like this... I look angelic, you have managed to make me even more physically beautiful than I ever thought possible!" She said in awe from her place on the plush couch as she stifled a yawn.

"I didn't do anything to make you more beautiful, beloved. I couldn't even draw half of how I see you every day. Every time I try, it turns out to be an irrelevant copy of how I picture you. You are unable to be replicated as you are far greater than a drawing."

She smiles at him, it alone says more than words. She weaves her fingers through his. She is content in knowing that he will
love her through everything.

"I portrait you." Raven states with a small laugh.

"I portrait you too, Raven. In other words, I love you too."
