"Well..." Garfield began
Flashback
Garfield was transformed into a fly in an attempt to hide from view Jamie's scarab had tried attacking him again. He perched on a wall watching the other members of the titans walk through the tower.

The day was crisp and clear, it may have been too hot for even the beach, but that didn't mean that the titans weren't going to have fun. The air conditioner was on, blowing a light breeze, which made the curtains flow from side to side.

The only titans that weren't there were Damian and Raven or Damirae had Garfield affectionately named them.

Everyone knew they were the closest among their little family, they were the only ones who could get each other to calm down.

They understood each other in a way that no one could understand. But, Garfield was about to find out why! He stumbled upon the training room, he half expected Damian to be training even in such conditions. But what he did not expect was that a certain empath had joined him.

"Damian, you're crazy!" Raven yelled in disbelief "you're training in such weather!" She said shocked while grabbing a bottle of water which was on one of the tables nearby.

"A warrior must be prepared for everything Raven." Damian replied with confidence as he smirked at the half-demon.

"Everything, Bird boy u sure? Raven asked coyly closing a large amount of space between them. Her cloak trailed behind her like a veil of mystery and power.

Garfield could see the confidence in each step that Raven took. "WAS DAMIAN WAYNE NERVOUS?" Gar screamed in his thoughts as he watched the young Robin physically gulp.

Heat rushed to Damian's cheeks at that point but he still managed to maintain his composure. "Yes, Raven." He said seriously shaking off his emotions which were clearly visible to the empath and turning back to his training.

Raven thought for a moment before smiling gleefully, her eyes shining with mischief like a young child plotting a grand scheme.

"Well then, I guess there is nothing else to do but prove you wrong, my love." she casually drawled out the nickname. This caught Garfield by surprise, Damian wasn't even shocked at the nickname, he grinned.

"And how do you plan on doing that may I ask beloved?" He asked flirtatiously in an attempt to outwit the empath.

"Why a sparing match of course!" She stepped closer to Damian so they were almost nose to nose.

Garfield had never felt so much tension in one room, he debated getting out of there but he realised that if he were to transform, he would be caught.

The door had closed behind him with a soft click and "was that it being locked?" He thought to himself panicking slightly.

"Oh god help him!" Garfield thought fearfully, he would have possibly been sick if he had been in human form. He heard snippets from Raven and Damian flirting.

"Well then, what are the rules?" Damian asked cheerfully. Garfield had never heard so much affection and happiness from Damian, it always seemed like he preferred to be alone, but maybe Raven is different.

"No lethal weapons or powers and whoever pins the other down the quickest get to make a request of the person who lost deal?" Raven says monotone but her voice was not convincing Damian, when it reached his ears.

"Deal, but your making this too easy" Damian replied a boyish grin on his face as he watched his teammate and girlfriend for any sort of response, but she gave none, her face like the depths of the ocean, emotionless and dangerous.

"Oh really?" Raven answered playfully "let's begin!" She announced and with that they attacked. Raven and Damian circled each other, analysing their opponent. Raven attacked first and if it wasn't for Damian quick thinking he would have ended up with a hard jab to the face.

He ducked under Raven's assault and managed to grab a hold of Raven's leg and bring her to the floor. She used the other to escape out of Damian's grasp.

Little marks began to appear on both their faces as they fort their hardest. Raven even managed to turn on some of the demonic charm she possessed, just when she thought that Damian was insnared.

He placed a kiss to her lips in that moment, all of the thoughts that were about being prideful melted away to ashes at Damian's touch.

She groaned at the loss of contact as he pulled away. Which was replaced with a look of fury as he simply looked at her with a triumphant grin on his face.

"I win, Beloved!" He yelled throwing his hands up in the air in celebration.

"You dirty rotten cheater!" Raven exclaimed in a mocking frustrated tone as she glared at the boy and he uttered the three words that made her heart race and knees melt.

"I love you, شيطاني الحبيب" he said in a thick Arabic accent.
