"Max I don't care, and if anything he's been waiting for the smallest reason to start shit with me"
"I know- we ALL know that Bane but starting a war for some low shit like him, seriously?"
"Trust me when I say it won't be at war at all, the minute there's a bullet in his head everyone else will just scatter"
"His dads?"
"Where else would they go" he scoffs "the only reason he's got men behind him is because his dad ordered them to go to him, if it wasn't for that he'd just be another whiny child"
"What did he want again?"
"Guns and a fucking map to some bank in central London" they both chuckle before sobering up with a breath it.
"Bane" Max sighs "let me try at least"
There's a pause, from both ends and for a second I think I'm caught, they know I'm not asleep but then there's a shuffle and my heart slows it's panic.
"Fine" Nicholas sighs and I don't need to see him to know he's tired "Fine but Max you check in every hour do you understand, if you're even a second late I'm coming over"
"You'll know where I'll be" I hear a door close and silence follows with it.
"You can stop pretending you're asleep now"
Wtf-
I finally open my eyes stretching some sore limbs but not once looking over at him, mad doesn't even cover what I feel for him.
"I see that you're still mad" I feel his eyes on me as he sits on the other side of the room, I'm on a bed bigger than the last one and something tells me this isn't just another hotel room. Everything is gold and light brown mixed in with touches of green then and there, it's breath-taking. The walls have these spirals cut into them that seem to travel as high as the ceiling goes and the windows practically stretch as far as the whole room, thick curtains are hung on either side allowing the light to pour in and I swear if i wasn't so pissed off I'd be head over heels in love with it all.
I stand up and head for the door but instead of him saying anything or trying to stop me, he gets up following. Great I have my own personal dog. As I step out of the room I'm stood in the longest hallway I've seen, I mean seriously who needs a hallway this long and big.
"This is my family home. I haven't been here in a while so some of the rooms are still getting done" there's a bit of sadness in his tone but I don't care right now.
"Your room is next to mine, I'll show it to you later but right now you need some food, come"
He walks off and I hesitate to follow, I'm supposed to be ignoring him but God I'm hungry and my muscles hurt like a bitch. So here I go pulling my pathetic ass to wherever he's taking me.
As we walk down the long hallway there's paintings lined up all across the walls, saying that they're massive would be an understatement. There's random portraits of families drawn on here but as we walk further along the people in them start to look more and more similar to Nicholas. These aren't random people at all, this is his family lineage that looks to date back hundred of years ago all the way to now.
Nicholas turns around checking if I'm still there and when he finds that I am he carries on, finally we reach the stairs that are to no one's surprise insanely breathtaking just like everything else here. A carpet spreads across the long stairs covering the dark red oak from damaging or collecting any dust, but i doubt there is any, with the way Nicholas is i doubt you'd find anything remotely out of place or let alone unclean.
