Chapter 48: Heated Conference

[Amid Empire]

Under the order of the Emperor and the suggestion of the Queen of angels, all the troops that were invading the three kingdom's in different borders of the empire was immediately withdrawn from their own post and recalled back to their capital with the announcement of putting a stop towards this nonsensical war

After the whole such an announcement which shocked everyone who heard it, numerous noble leaders that were leading the frontline of war suddenly went into rage and uproar as they expressed their objection and unsatisfied perception towards such an order, after all for them being in a war was equivalent to having the means to establish an achievement of their own and having the achievement of military service was the greatest honor they could get

Along with that notion some of the nobles also took the war as a chance to actually raise the taxes in their own territory and exploit the wealth of their domain and the empire for their own self and to live a lavish life, thus with the announcement or decree which stated the withdrawal of the war front, many corrupt nobles and nobles who aimed for achievement were naturally dissatisfied

In a moments notice without wasting time at all, many dissatisfied nobles who led the warfront then immediately charged towards the capital with their own men with an intention to complain their dissatisfaction towards the hasty decision of their Emperor, unfortunately due to the vast land of the empire itself, it still somehow took them three days just to travel back to the capital from their respective territories

Upon arriving at the very front of the castle of the Emperor, the nobles then hastily gathered at the front of the castle with the other dissatisfied nobles and charged towards the throne room of the castle while completely ignoring the warning and shouts of the guarding soldiers

With a heavy feet, they then entered the throne room of the emperor himself and somehow witnessed the scene wherein the Emperor was talking towards the Queen of angels alongside her men (Ariel and Darius)

Unfortunately they didn't recognized the Queen of angels herself and simply regarded her as some kind of special guest of the emperor coming from a faraway territory, due to that thought and their current temperament, they then naturally ignored the three people that were conversing with the Emperor and loudly declare their dissatisfaction towards the recent decree of withdrawing the warfront

All in all about 10 nobles were gathered before the Emperor with a motive of it's own

"Your majesty! What is the meaning of this? Explain yourself?"

"Have you gone mad? Your actually withdrawing your troops back when we can already see and taste the victory of this invasion towards the other countries?"

"I don't understand your reason for withdrawing the troops your majesty! No matter how much I think, all I can see is that we are at the advantage, why can't we just ride our momentum and fully invade the whole continent? Please give us your explanation for the sudden hasty decision you have made"

"Yes! Give us your explanation your majesty!"

"Please don't be hasty your majesty!"

"Your majesty!"

"Your majesty!"

With all this questions and noise ringing out in the room, Emperor Amos naturally showed an irritated expression on his throne as he suddenly raised his hand to stop the nobles from speaking before giving them his answer

"My decision is final! I have no thoughts about changing my decree, if you guys are dissatisfied with it then so be it, after all I became the Emperor not to look for your praises, as long as I impose a decree and order, it should be done"
