[Azure kingdom, White Castle]

2 days has passed since the day when Asagi met the council, the residents of the Azure Kingdom itself were living their ordinarily life without worry or stress. Unknown to them, the reason why kingdom is so at peace was because all the troubles and dangers that happened are all dealt with by the angels themselves and such news never escaped their lips.

One apparent proof of this, is that Leila, David, and other port town survivors that are currently residing within the kingdom itself, doesn't even know that there had been a tribal war about a few weeks ago. They were completely kept in the dark of such danger as they goes on in repairing their life. That's just shows the level of governance that Asagi had done in order to make its residence safe. Just like the saying "For the sake of everyone's safety, one had to dirty their hands in the dark in order to live in the light".

In that note, one particular archangel doesn't sit well with this kind of preferential treatment. Azrael himself couldn't help but feel nauseas and sick as he continued to watch the peace that is displayed right in front of him. He himself knows just how many blood and cries that their queen had done in the dark for the safety of her citizens, practically the so called queen of this kingdom is the only one solving all the problems.

With that notion, Azrael affirmed himself that he would kill any mortal human that dared to be ungrateful towards his queen without knowing anything. This peace  that they are enjoying are the result of countless sacrifice, thus there is no room for any ungratefulness.

Putting a stop in his patrol all over the kingdom in disguise, Azrael landed in the garden of the castle, as he quickly transformed his whole appearance into that of a human maid in order to avoid any prying eyes from the human servants themselves. Even thought no human is hostile against him in this castle, he still couldn't stomach the eyes that were watching him whether in fear or admiration. He was better off to be left unnoticed, than to be the center of attention.

Putting that topic aside, the reason why Azrael can transform his appearance into anything, is not because due to his rune law of death, but rather to his inherent trait itself which is quite unique from the other archangels. Based on human ideology, death itself comes from all sort of shape and sizes, meaning there is no specific appearance for death.

Aside from his main appearance as the black winged archangel of death, he can transform himself into anything literally. He can be a woman, young girl, boy, man, dog, cat, energy, gas, and even objects such as trucks, crane, and etc. One apparent proof of this is that he had historically appeared over Egypt in a form of a haze which killed every first born in the 13th century BCE in the time of Moses.

With that he can come and go without anyone noticing that death itself had already passed by.

As he got to a corner where the human soldiers were patrolling the hallway, he then transformed his body into a human soldier himself, as he calmly bypassed the guards and went to another corner at the end of the hallway. Following that to further avoid the eyes of some servants in the castle, he then transformed into a black cat as he crawled with his tiny paws and smoothly avoided the bypassing people.

As he continued to roam the castle in his cat form, Azrael then bypassed a large door, as he felt recognizable energy inside the room. Recognizing the energy as something that originated from his queen, Azrael then became curious as he transformed into a black smoke and slipped through the small openings of the door.

Once he got inside, he then transformed back to his original appearance as an archangel, as he looked in the wide empty room and saw a  cradle size sphere of light in the middle of the said empty room. As he got closer to the sphere of light with his silent steps, he then felt the rune law of transmigration in the sphere which signifies as life force that supports whatever it is in the sphere of light.
