Chapter 20

Timi's been avoiding Moyo all day, he didn't go for any class before break just so he won't have to see Moyo.

Moyo finally saw him during break, Timi felt extremely embarrassed of what happened, he couldn't even look her in the face.

Moyo acted like she had forgotten everything that happened, even though she wanted to talk to him about it, she knew he'd just push her away.

"I saw Zuriel in VP's office, somebody casted her..." Moyo started.

Timi got worried and asked Moyo to admit it was her who reported Zuriel, Moyo claimed she didn't but he still didn't believe.

Zuriel was waiting in the Vice Principal's office since the VP sent for Chika.

Chika got in with a bold face like Tope told him to "Good afternoon Ma" He greeted.

"Zuriel here said she gave you the rest of the sweets?" The VP pointed at Zuriel.

Zuriel stared at Chika knowing he'd say the right thing.

"Yes ma, she gave out everything to me, there are even at home sef, I didn't sell them." Chika said.

The VP didn't move forward with the case, since she had more pressing matters at hand.

Zuriel praised Chika for his sharpness when they got to SSS2 block, she asked Chika for the money she gave him back.

Chika saw this coming, he deeped his hands in both pockets and gave the total sum. Zuriel left smiling with the money but inside her she was plotting her revenge for Moyo, cause she's sure as hell it was Moyo who reported her.

Olamide mimicked the way Chika acted when they called him to the VPs office to the entire class after Chika walked in. Chika insulted him out loud.

"Repeat what you said" Olamide told Chika.

Chika bodly repeated it out loud, Olamide tried installing fear into him but it didn't work, Olamide slapped him, Chika slapped him back harder. The two started fighting. Malik didn't hesitate to attack Olamide when he saw the two of them fighting.  Malik had no regard for Olamide, he kept punching and kicking him. Pascal intervened when Olamide started bleeding from his mouth.

Malik left the class with Chika, while people tried to help Olamide up, Olamide shouted homophobic slurs at Malik and Chika leaving, Chika stopped Malik from going back to fight with Olamide.

"I'll kill that boy I swear" Malik swore.

Chika just kept picturing what could've happened if Malik hadn't been there.

Jason and Zino scaled back into school around eight period, no one saw them jump in, they parted ways when they got back into school.

Jason ran to class, it was empty when he got there, he figured they'd be having physics practical at the physics lab.

The students started leaving the physics lab when he wanted to enter, he bumped into Stephanie and Beamer outside.

"Where were you?" Stephanie asked Jason.

"I was with Zino" Jason had to rethink that.

"Doing what?" Beamer asked.

"He called me to help with him something." Jason lied.

Jason left the two of them so they'd stop interrogating him, Stephanie and Beamer kept going back to class and discussing when next would be their second date.

Lekan fake bumped in between the two, when he walked past them, Beamer and Stephanie ignored him. Stephanie was scared Lekan might say something.

Zino met with Jason at the football field when school was almost over to check up on him.

"I got there when physics was finishing, nobody saw me, only Beamer and Stephanie were asking questions but I told them I was helping you with something" Jason stated.  "What did you say?" Jason asked Zino.

"Me?? Nobody noticed... Just asking about you incase they come to meet me or something to know where you were" Zino said.

"Oh ok... "Jason was waiting for Zino to say something about the sex but he didn't, he knew Zino was in denial of his sexuality so he obviously won't talk about it.

Jason left to go help with Mr Jeffrey's work after school again, Balikis was already in his office when he got there.

"I didn't see you during break today" Balikis said.

Jason was scared his dad was going to ask where he was but his dad probably didn't hear Balikis.

"Me neither" Jason said. Balikis just assumed they didn't cross paths.

Balikis and Jason didn't do much so they were able to leave early but Jason still had to wait for his dad so they could go home together.

Balikis finally asked Jason for his response to the love letter, Jason had completely forgotten about it.

Jason didn't know how to let her down easy so he said "I'm with someone actually... And they're great..." Jason was actually referring to Zino but tried to not use 'he/him' pronouns.

Balikis seemed to have gotten over it real quick and left Jason with his dad.
