Chapter 59

Malvin ran back to school after he got out of Beamer's house. He met Zino on his way who told him the event was cut short because of a fight.

"It's a long story sha - Moyo slapped Timi, then Mr Adonis came to settle it but by that time Moyo had left. Then Lekan and Lateef fought, Lekan used something to chook Lateef in his
eye. I don't know what will happen to both of them but it's not looking good at all, where were you sef when all this was happening??" Zino asked Malvin after explaining what happened.

Malvin came clean and told him the truth, Zino didn't get angry cause they weren't in a relationship, although it hurt him, there was nothing he could do about it.

"...you make me happy too,"Malvin started "I might have acted immature towards you multiple times but I was only doing that to push you away cause I wasn't ready to be in a relationship, although I somehow already have a girlfriend, But she's been acting different ever since teen fest, Well then again we were never really a thing to begin with..." Malvin refers to Zuriel "Honestly I didn't even think two guys could be in a relationship... I mean see Jason and Timi for instance, looked at how that turned out... No offense to them.." Malvin pauses to laugh with Zino "tonight when I had sex with Beamer it made me realize that I want more than just hookups... I'm glad I'm over him now...he wasn't worth it anyways....Don't tell him but he's bad in bed" Malvin jokes.

"I don't think I was going to tell him that" Zino laughs. He later escorts Malvin home after agreeing to be his boyfriend.

Everyone had cleared out of the school except Balikis, she went to the Assembly hall toilet to handle something quickly before going home, she brought out her phone to delete a video recording of Jason kissing Timi in the abandoned building earlier, which she sent to Moyo.

Mr Adonis was searching the toilet for the piece of broken sink used on Lekan when he stumbled upon Balikis "what are you doing here?" He asked,
She fidgeted, he suspected she had been involved in the incident so he asked for her phone.

She was very reluctant to give out her phone, so he took it by force from her, he was utterly shocked when he saw Jason kissing Timi, he started to see things more clearly, remembering the whole "homosexual" argument with Jason.

He went to report the issue right away, asking Balikis to come with him, he didn't bother going to the school committee but straight to Jason's parents first.

Jason's father felt disgraced that someone could even level such 'accusations' against his son, his mother didn't believe it either until she saw the video herself. Jason was home at the time, they didn't call him. Mr Jeffrey threatened to kill him when he got home, at that moment Mr Adonis pleaded with him not to rough handle Jason but to pray for him instead.

It was 9pm when Jason's parents got home, he welcomed them but they didn't respond which was off, but he didn't take it as a big deal.

He started to feel a wrong vibe when his mother asked him to sit down with her "Jason why?... Why would you do this to us? Why are you embarrassing us like this? Don't we treat you good enough? Jessica doesn't do this to us... why you?" Mrs Jeffrey compared Jason to his sister.

Jason didn't let the idea of them finding out he's gay cross his mind, he still wanted to believe they were talking about something else.

"So you're sleeping with boys abi?" Mr Jeffrey finally spoke after letting his wife talk.

"Which boys?" Jason acted confused.

Mr Jeffrey slapped Jason really hard "you're answering my question with another question" he pushed Jason on the floor and kicked him til Mrs Jeffrey stopped him.

"Mommy what's daddy talking about?" Jason couldn't look his father in the eye.

Mr Jeffrey kept stomping on him multiple times, Jason was on the verge of crying, he held on to his father's leg to stop. "Please daddy!!" Jason begged while withholding tears.

"Don't touch me! Who's your father?? I don't know you! I'm not your father" Mr Jeffrey kicked him away, he walked out in anger after his wife had warned him to stop "don't think of sleeping in this house oo! You can go and sleep with that Timi in his house"

Jason tried talking to his mummy but she was too disappointed to even be near him so she left him.

Meanwhile, in Timi's house, Wale had just come back for Christmas break, but Timi's 2 other older brothers weren't returning.

Timi needed someone to talk to so bad, he decided to come out to Wale ready for the worse that could  happen, cause he wants his brother to at least know before news get to his parents.

"How far? What's up... What's been going on? Why are you moody?" Wale sat beside Timi in the corridor.

"Moyo broke up with me.... B-Because... Because... Because.. I'm sorry forget it...."Timi changed his mind.

"Because you're gay?" Wale guessed, Timi became frightened but felt relief knowing his brother somehow knew.

"I hate how I feel..I promise you, I didn't choose this...." Timi panicked

"Shut the fuck up! You're an amazing nigga and I love you bro!"

Timi got so emotional and hugged him, he stopped after hearing a knock on the gate.

"Who's knocking at this time of the night?" Wale stood up to go check but Timi wanted to instead.

Timi didn't bother asking who it was he could feel it was Jason from the way he knocked. When he opened the door Jason fell into his arms and hugged him finally letting out all the tear he's been holding back.

Timi finally got him to enter the house, luckily Timi's parents didn't complain about an unexpected guest because Jason was family. It didn't seem to out of the norm, giving they were just coming back from school.

The next day after everything, Pascal went to Chika's house so they could go to school together.

He met the gate open when he got there so he assumed Chika was ready, when he got in, he started shouting Chika's name but no-one was answering, Chika's parents weren't around as usual.

Pascal's heart started to beat really fast when he saw a trail of blood leading to Chika's room, Chika was there laying on the ground in a pool of blood.
