Chapter 44

The crowd became smaller, some people started leaving, a lot of people were tired of screaming, Chika went to go sit down leaving Pascal dancing alone.

Chika was scrolling through people's status, he came across an anonymous message post which sparked an idea into his head.

He created his own anonymous message profile and pasted the link on his status but he set it to only Pascal to view it.

He finally took his eyes off his screen, then he noticed Pascal was no longer where he was dancing. Chika wanted to text pascal but he saw Pascal had already sent a text "Do you want suya?" Before he could respond, Pascal came back with suya meat.

"I tried texting you to ask if you wanted... But you didn't respond... You were busy posting on your status" Pascal opened the paper with Suya meat in it, offering Chika some.

"I didn't know.... No thank you" Chika declines the suya "I'm not saying no because it's you but because I actually don't like suya"

"Who doesn't like suya?" Pascal said with his mouth full.

Chika didn't answer him, Chika was on his phone looking at the anonymous message Pascal sent "I really like you... I wish you'd just give me a chance" Pascal wrote. This put a huge smile on Chika's face.

Chika was so happy, he decided to try Suya, he stuffed three meat in his mouth then immediately spat all of them out, Pascal laughed at him.

"Why did you change your mind all of a sudden?" Pascal was still laughing.

"I need to go and drink water" Chika left without answering.

Chika saw Timi on his way thinking it was Jason, he was so eager to tell Jason everything, he grabbed Timi by his hand from behind, he became frightened when he found out it was Timi.

"I'm so sorry I thought you were senior Jason" Chika apologized

"Oh no problem....You are Chika right?"

Chika didn't want to respond, he didn't know whether Timi was asking for a good reason.

"See it's ok....you can be free around me... I'm not beating you" Timi said.

"Yes I'm Chika" Chika warmed up to Timi.

"Did you come alone?"

"No I came with Pascal..."

"Who's he?" Timi smirked insinuating something was going on between Chika and Pascal.

"He's a friend... My classmate actually" Chika said with a confused expression on his face.

Chika knew about Jason and Timi but he wasn't sure if he could trust Timi, he really needed advice from someone who would understand and Timi was the only one available, Timi wanted Chika to say something more so Chika gave it a shot to see Timi's reaction.

"I think he likes me" Chika blurted hoping for the worse to happen.

"Wait.... Do you like him back?" Timi looked around to make sure no-one was hearing them.

"No... I don't know honestly" Chika felt safe around Timi.

"Why do you think he likes you?"

"Cause he said so... Actually he wrote it in an anonymous message...."

"Well because he wrote it doesn't mean he meant it.... He could be using it to tease you or get to you....how do you even know it's him that wrote it?" Timi asked.

"I set it to only him to view it."

Timi smiled at Chika's cleverness, Malvin interrupted their conversation "so you're the boy that likes other boys?" Malvin asked Chika.

Chika was scared to death, he was ready to run anywhere.

"Relax I like boys too" Malvin slurred. Chika let out a sigh of relief

Zino dragged Malvin out before he says anything else stupid "ignore him... He's high" Zino told them.

"Leave me alone" Malvin tried getting out of Zino's grip but Zino was too strong, he carried him all the way to a mobile toilet, incase Malvin wanted to puke.

"Why do you keep following me around? We're not dating... We are fags! we can't date!! Stop obsessing over me and chase your classmates instead" Malvin shouted.

Zino was lucky no-one heard him, Malvin said a lot of hurtful things to Zino, Zino wondered if Malvin meant it or it was just the influence of the weed. Malvin started punching the mobile toilet for no reason, so Zino came to conclusion it was the weed.

Zino dragged him away from the toilet, Malvin struggled till he fell unconscious on Zino.

There was no-one around to help Zino carry Malvin, so Zino did all the work himself and decided to take Malvin home.

The event was almost over, Chika enjoyed talking with Timi. Timi advised him "next time don't tell anyone anything like you just did with me.... You don't know who's out to get you... They might appear nice like I did but please be very careful."

Chika heed to his advice, he drank water before going back to Pascal. Chika dragged Pascal and started dancing, Pascal didn't know why Chika was smiling, but it made him happy.

"Why are you smiling?" Chika asked.

"Cause I haven't seen you this happy before" Pascal said.

Chika blushed bright red, Pascal wanted to stop dancing since they were one of the few people left but Chika forced him to continue. Pascal didn't care anymore and just kept dancing with him.
