Chapter 50

Following Tuesday morning, just before first period SSS3 students roam around the garden, Jason and the six others share two benches.

"Zuriel please pass me the rag when you're done" Moyo asks for a rag to clean the bench.

Everyone except Malvin froze up and wondered when they started talking, Stephanie spoke for everyone when she asked "when did you and Zuriel start talking?".

"She spoke to me first" Moyo responded.

Moyo wasn't wrong but Zuriel expected Moyo to at least be humble and not gloat after everything that's happened.

"Where were all of you yesterday?" Moyo asked when she sat down.

"Wait you guys didn't come to school too?" Stephanie asked Jason and Timi.

"We were in art class" Jason said.

"I was in art class.... Jason followed me there" Timi corrects Jason.

Malvin mentions him and Zuriel were in SSS2 block, It took a while but Stephanie and Beamer finally came clean of why they missed school.

"...when I got home, my mom was shouting at me because of the bag... But she later bashed it as per I'm in SSS3" Stephanie narrated.

"My parents weren't even around when I got home, Thank God!" Beamer boasted.

Zuriel didn't add to the convo at all, she just stared at Jason, Timi and Moyo who were seated on the other bench throughout, all that went through her mind when she saw their faces were the screenshots.

Zuriel left midway during the conversation, going straight to SSS2 block, this time she and Tope went somewhere more discreet.

"Did you later collect your phone?" Zuriel brought out her own phone.

"Yes, Moyo did...." Tope brought it out and transferred the screenshots "what do you want to do with it?"

Zuriel left without answering Tope, This made Tope really worried, she didn't want Zuriel using it against her sister.

Malvin and Tope enter SSS2 science class at the same time to go sit beside Chika, Chika was confused about what was going on.

"I finally know why you don't like me..." Malvin told Tope. "Last session, on vacation day... I punished you and one other girl on the field and never released you"

"Senior Malvin it's not like that na... I didn't even remember... I was just not talking yesterday because they seized my phone" Tope said.

"Oh I knew that na... " Chika added.

"So you knew it was the phone that was making her upset and you didn't tell me" Malvin's voice deepened.

"I didn't know that was what you were talking about" Chika became frightened.

Malvin ignored Chika and asked Tope to follow him out before her class started.

Malik sat beside Chika when Malvin and Tope left, Chika looked at Malik to his right and said "your brother was right when he said you should stay away from me" Chika stumped out of the class in anger.

Pascal was coming up the stairs when Chika stumped down.

"Hey" Pascal greeted him with a warm smile.

"Hi" Chika's response seemed so vague and forced as he stumped down.

Pascal didn't even get to say anything else before Chika left, Pascal was starting to wonder if he did anything wrong when he was last at his place.

Malvin dismissed Tope when he saw Zino on the field, Malvin and Zino went to sit on the pavilion to talk.

"Who was that guy you were with yesterday?" Malvin asked.

"My classmate..." Zino noticed Malvin was jealous. "What?? You said I should chase my classmates."

"What did you guys do?"

"We wanked each other off after school... But he didn't want to kiss cause he said it was 'gay'.... "

Malvin laughed uncontrollably "wait you stroked each other's dicks?? And that wasn't gay... But kissing each other is..." Malvin kept laughing at their naivety.

Malvin didn't stop laughing until they were chased back to class.

In class during break, Jason tried apologizing to Timi cause he was clearly upset by his behaviour yesterday.

Jason admitted to feeling 'a bit' jealous when he saw Timi with Lawal, cause he saw Lawal as some sort of competition, Timi praised Jason for being the bigger person for the first time.

"....look I was only there because they might mix us up with art students for exams and I wanted to know their tactics.... Not to make you jealous.... It's not like you immediately went after other guys.... Just because we agreed to an open relationship" Timi said, Jason finally understood.

Zuriel dropped books in front of them and instructed them to follow her to the library.

Lawal and his friends wanted to hang out with them again but Jason and Timi were following Zuriel to the library.

Zuriel sat behind them reading in the library with her phone hidden inside a book, scrolling through the screenshots, she contemplated how to monetize off it, But it had to wait because she needed them for her exams.
