Chapter 39

Pascal caught Tope on her way to class coming back from dance practice.

"I forgot to ask why didn't you come yesterday?" Pascal asked Tope.

"I wasn't feeling fine so I stayed home" Tope turned to keep going.

Pascal wasn't done so he stopped her again. "Sorry.... It's just that what really happened between Chika and Malik?"

"I don't know... You can ask them" Tope left.

Pascal stood there embarassed not knowing what to do.

Jason went to a hidden corner behind the basketball court to pee after Timi and Moyo had left for class.

Malvin saw him when he was going so he went to go meet him, Malvin scared Jason when he turned back after he was done peeing.

"Sorry you didn't actually agree to coming for teen fest so I wanted to be sure you're coming" Malvin said.

"Guy! I'm not telling anyone anything... No need for all this" Jason buckled his belt.

"Telling anyone what??" Malvin acted dumbfounded.

"That you and Zino..... "

"Me and Zino what??" Malvin moved closer to Jason caving him into a spot.

Jason and Malvin stared into each other's eyes, suddenly Malvin dragged Jason by his tie and started kissing him, Jason began hitting Malvin's hand lightly. "You're choking me" Jason said. Malvin let go of his tie, but continued kissing him.

Jason stopped kissing back for a second "you really don't care about getting caught? Do you?"

Malvin shut him up with a kiss, the two were full on making out during seventh period.

When they were done, Jason and Malvin left the corner at different times, Jason went first tho, he expected to see Malvin right behind him few minutes later but Malvin wasn't forthcoming so he went to class on his own.

Malvin went to Zino's class instead, managing to call Zino out of his class without his classmates noticing.

Zino hurriedly went downstairs to somewhere concealed with Malvin.

"Are you okay?" Zino started "why'd you come to call me...What do you want?"

"Why didn't you tell me, you and Jason had done it?"

"What the fuck? He told you?"

"No.... You just did"

Zino nearly hit Malvin but he stopped himself. "How did you know?"

"It was obvious... That's why you weren't worried that Jason would tell anyone... And Jason also seemed not to care about it. And I did Jason so..."

"You did what?"

"I have class... I have to start going" Malvin ran away, Zino didn't chase after him, he just let him go.

When school was over, Moyo waited for Tope outside her block, Tope wondered why.

They walked to a corner out of people's earshot before they started talking.

"Tope I need your help" Moyo turned to look at her.

"What happened?" Tope paused.

"I invited Timi over.... And I'm going to find a way to get him away from his phone.... When that happens, I need you to do something"

"Moyo forget this boy... Just break up with him."

"No I need to be sure first... See when you get his phone, go to his dms and type the word 'gay' and read whatever you find."

"Do you really think he'd just leave something like that in his phone?" Tope asked.

Moyo got tired of going back and forth with Tope, so she promised to get Tope's phone back from her father if she goes through with the plan.

Tope finally agreed but only to get her phone in return. She was really hoping her sister was wrong, so she won't have to be the bearer of bad news.

Timi texted Moyo to go home without her, he'd meet her at her house, he has things in school to do. Moyo didn't respond, she just went along.

Timi kept pacing in class, when he saw Moyo didn't respond, he wanted to double text to make sure she got the message but he stopped himself.

Timi finally wanted to listen to Jason and breakup with her but he couldn't do it over the phone, she'd hate him for life.

Timi just kept thinking of his next move that he didn't notice when 30minutes passed.

Everything became clear to him when he noticed how quiet and empty the school was, but he still wasn't ready to go to her house and he didn't want to bail on her.

Malvin went round checking classes for anyone left when he saw Timi.

"What are you doing here? I thought everyone has gone home" Malvin asked Timi.

"What are YOU doing here?" Timi redirected the question.

"I just paid my school fees and I'm waiting for one woman at the admin office so I can get the receipt... What about you?"

Timi was unable to answer, he just checked his phone for the time and noticed it was getting late.

Malvin was still waiting for an answer so Timi had to give him sooner or later.

Malvin spoke out to break the silence "by the way that reminds me before Moyo left, she told me to tell you 'before you go to her house, you should help her pay the tuck shop woman 100naira if you can' if you CAN that is" Malvin still didn't get a response from Timi "aren't you supposed to be at her house by now?"

"You ask a lot of questions" Timi stated.

"You're queer, Aren't you?" Malvin figured.

"No I'm not queer" Timi answered defensively.

"Only a queer person would know what queer means" Malvin sat on the desk of the table Timi was seated on.

Timi was baffled by how confident and smart Malvin was, he left him speechless.

"How did you know?"

"My gaydar is very high... It only makes sense because that's why you don't want to go to Moyo's house cause you're not that into her... If you even are at all" Malvin stood up to leave then spun around to climb on top Timi sitting, then starts kissing him.

Timi couldn't help but kiss back, he needed it, Malvin remembered Jason walking in on him and Zino the day before, so he stopped himself.

"You should probably go pay that tuck shop woman... Let me go and check if there's anyone in the admin office" Malvin pats his chest before coming off him

"Wait!" Timi stopped him. "Since you claim your gaydar is so high.... Are there any other queer persons you know?"

"Well Zino and Jason... Not that I expect you to go and ask them" Malvin warned.

"Why? NO NOW!! But how do you know they are queer"

"Well because I did them... and they've done each other. " Malvin said, about leaving.

"So you've done three people, in three days since you came back?" Timi tried to ignore the fact he called Jason.

"Two days actually" Malvin left without waiting for Timi to say another word

"What should I do if Moyo tries to do me?" Timi shouted hoping only Malvin heard him.

"Pretend she's me" Malvin shouted back.
