Tears of Sorrow (Anakin Skywalker x Reader)

Part 14

I was awakened by knocking on the door and rubbed my eyes so I could see clearly. Two clones walked in with handcuffs, "(y/n), you are coming with us." My eyes widened, this was so unexpected. I slowly stood up thinking of a way out because I am not going to the detention center. I was done being a prisoner to them and that meant I should escape. I then approached both of the clones and took one of their blasters and set it on stun.

I stunned both of them and watched them collapse to the floor then made a run for it. I sprinted through the hallways with many guards right behind me, trying to get to the hanger. So that I could escape. I heard one clone yelling to close the chamber door and when I looked right in front of me one of the clones was closing it. I used the force to gently push the clone away from the controls to the door and slid through the door before it closed.

I lost the battalion of clones and ran to one of the ships, but then I hesitated and thought. What am I doing? This would make my reputation even worse. Suddenly, the clones began swarming in with blasters. I got on a ship and turned on the control and began turning it to lift off as soon as they started shooting. I thought to myself after speaking with Padme, I will leave this planet and go somewhere far from my mistakes.

After lifting off, I started heading towards Padme's apartment but then there were two ships from The Jedi, Mace Windu and Plo Koon. I thought to myself, I can't defend myself, so I might lose them instead. If they fire first, there are no guarantees. Right after I had said that to myself, I heard Mace on radio, "(y/n) turn this ship around...now!!" The anger in his voice was nothing I had ever heard in my life as a Jedi but I didn't listen.

The hatred I had for him returned. All the memories of how he treated me came back poisoning my mind. My grip on the flight stick got tighter, imagining it was Mace's throat. Plo Koon could sense the anger inside me and ordered Mace to pull off. Mace didn't listen, of course because he was stubborn and wanted me behind bars desperately. Then push came to shove, Mace started to fire while I was dodging them and then decided that I have had enough of him treating me like nothing then I flew back behind him and said goodbye before blowing his ship up to bits.

Plo koon contacted me trying to convince me to return, but knowing what I have done I can never come back after killing Mace. I decided to contact him and reply with the most disturbing message, "I will never come back. If you send more Jedi, they will be returning with only their heads." I disconnected from the radio, laughing sinisterly and mocking Plo Koon begging me to come back.

Plo Koon dropped down to get Mace Windu as I got away and thought now is the time to see Padme. Despite knowing more ships were heading my way behind me, I decided to cause a little ruckus and zipped through the air traffic. Once all the ships had fallen, I saw Padme's apartment in sight and landed next to the patio and stepped out. I yelled Padme's name out and she appeared in her night gown, "(y/n), why are you here?" She gave me a comforting hug however I pulled away and sighed, "I did something awful and I am leaving coruscant right after I talk to you." Padme shook her head in disbelief and sat down on the couch on the patio, gazing on to the floor," Please don't do this...not again." Anakin is coming back and it will kill him that you left him...again. She kept pleading for me to say, but it was no use because I was leaving whether she and Anakin didn't like it.

After a moment of silence, I sat down next to Padme and put my hand on her lap to get her attention and looked into her eyes, "Padme...I killed Mace Windu and many more clones. I can't be here anymore..I apologize." When I told her about Mace Windu, she removed my hand from her lap and cried while shaking her head. She could see the monster I was becoming, but she couldn't help but stay with me. I was like a sister to her and her heart was aching because of how messed up the situation got.

Padme tried to convince me to turn myself in so she could still see me. I denied the idea and told her I would be dead either way and that I caused so much pain. Padme wasn't convinced but then Anakin comm Padme, "Padme whatever you do, do not engage with (y/n). She is dangerous and she could hurt you." Padme gave me a look that she wouldn't give up my location, "Anakin, I am fine but what are you talking about?" Anakin was super upset about the situation and spoke again sternly, "(y/n) has turned against us once again. Killing Mace Windu, killing some clones and threatening the Jedi. She is not to be trusted." But then Anakin felt my presence and yelled at Padme, asking her if I was with her?

There was no response from Padme and she looked terrified not knowing what to do. I responded with a sigh, "You are against me huh?" Anakin was completely caught off guard and didn't know what to say, "I- (y/n)...I thought the force was messing with me. I didn't think that you were actually there." I raised my eyebrow, not satisfied with the answer that I was given, "No no, carry on. How dangerous I am, how untrustworthy I am. I just have one question. Was our love real?"
