Tears of Sorrow (Anakin Skywalker x Reader)

Part 20

Heading to my ship, there was a quiet walk between Vader and I walked closer, "So, why do you desire the dark side?" Vader wasn't interested in having conversation with me and kept walking. Thinking to myself, I knew it was because of Padme, because it was obvious he loved her, but oh well, something might happen to her.

We got to my ship and as I got in, he got in as well, very suspiciously because he never trusted me anymore. I told him the plan and tried to insert flashbacks of when we used to go on missions. I read his mind Surprisingly, he was thinking about those times and he made direct eye contact with me, but his face was emotionless.

My face was glowing when I saw the Jedi Temple. Here I come, Windu. Let's see how long you'll last. I slowly landed somewhere close to the Temple so we would not be seen. Looking at Vader to make sure he had his army, but I heard the order was executed and that it was time. I jumped out of the cockpit of the ship and ran towards the temple. While Vader was contacting his army, then he yelled my name and I stopped in my tracks to turn around. and he said good luck.

I sprinted towards the Temple and put my hood up. Then I heard blasters shooting and I knew he was right behind me. He ran towards me and nodded again to let me know the plan is successful. I was pleased to hear this and smiled at him to confirm this news would satisfy Lord Sidious.

After the massacre began, I signaled Vader to make sure the younglings were safe. They are the only ones I don't want to get hurt. A bunch of Jedi knights approached me and I hissed while force choking them until their necks cracked. I ignited my red light saber and it clashed and ended most of the Jedi until I heard the younglings screaming.

I muttered under my breath, " Anakin, you imbecile. " As I approached the screams of the younglings, I opened the door and immediately saw the unconscious bodies. Vader finished off the last one and looked cold at me. I glared at him, " The plan was not to kill the youngling, Vader. " I tried checking the pulses of the younglings but there was none from each of them.

All of a sudden, I felt a tear coming down, stinging my eye. I knelt down and held one of the younglings onto my lap and caressed her cheek, " I'm sorry that this happened to you and I hope your journey with force still continues in the after life. " hugging the youngling close to my chest, silently crying while Vader was right behind me, staring at the youngling with no remorse. A thought came into mind to bury the children with respect after being slaughtered like animals. Vader placed his hand on my shoulders to continue the plan. I placed the little girl down and sighed while standing up also wiping my tears. Without a thought, I smacked Vader across the face and stormed out the room.

An animal, he's an animal. Cruel and disgusting. Why, why did he do that, especially to those poor younglings, as I thought to myself while I was fighting the remaining Jedi and using my anger towards Vader on them. He didn't even think, he just did. They were innocent. One day I will avenge their death.

After killing the last Jedi, I told one of the clones to bury the younglings respectfully. Vader appeared right beside me, " There aren't anymore Jedi. " I didn't turn to him but I just stared at the floor trying to process the younglings death. To even think that we were one once younglings broke my heart. I started to walk to the main entrance of the Temple. I looked up at the sky to say my final goodbye to the younglings. Then I walked slowly to the ship and sat inside heartbroken and watching the Temple burn into flames.

Vader entered the shipped and sat beside me, clenching his jaw. It was time to enter the Mustafar system in the Outer Rim to kill the Separatists. So, I entered the coordinates but Vader said, " I need to see Padme first. " I had no response but flew to Padme's apartment.

Arriving at Padme's apartment, She looked distressed and scared, but when Vader got out to hug her, she was relived and kissed him. I rolled my eyes and stayed inside the ship. They had a conversation about what had been happening. She could tell Anakin was gone from the look that she was giving him, searching for the little boy on Tatooine. But he was no longer.

There, That moment, I was just thinking about Obi-Wan and how he was feeling. I know he was stressed about what Vader and I caused. But after a bit, Vader entered and I entered the coordinates for Mustafar and exited the atmosphere. Then prepared the ship to head into hyperspace and Vader turned to me and spoke, " I can read your mind. You are thinking about Obi-Wan."

 My face turned red in anger, " It's better if you be quiet now. " He grabbed my wrist and chuckled a bit, " That's not an option, especially the hell you put me through. " I sighed and turned to him, " You got Padme pregnant. Leave the past behind and look at your new future and just leave me alone." Shaking his head out of disappointment, he spoke sternly," Do not bring Padme into this. This is about us and our past and we both know we can't leave each other alone. It's like an addiction and when you get the first taste of it, you crave more. You caused my pain. Now you have to take responsibility and own up to your own actions. Better feel grateful for this opportunity or else the punishment will be much worse."

Looking down and trying to think of what to say, I give everyone pain. I am not worthy of anything. Vader heard my thoughts again, " Don't expect me to give you pity. It's your fault, we couldn't have a future we both desired and then somehow you ended up being the worst thing I could imagine. " I huffed and looked at him dead in the eyes, " Then why are you referring to you and I as us then? That does not exist anymore. I will accept my punishment."punishment."
