Tears of Sorrow (Anakin Skywalker x Reader)

Part 18

Palpatine felt the anger bubbling inside and thought about bringing Anakin to see his lover become the most cruel version of herself. He then apologized for Anakin's doings, " Maybe we should let Anakin know how you are feeling? It's the least I could do. " He frowned a little, trying to manipulate me and, sadly, it was working because I was distraught about the situation. " Alright. Fine, but if you try anything, your head will be under my boot. " I glared.

The chancellor let his guard know that Anakin's presence was needed. I sat in one of the chairs with my arms crossed, waiting impatiently. A few moments later, Anakin entered the room, and the room was filled with tension. He decided to sit right next to me with the chancellor facing us, and I sensed he was pissed off because he wouldn't even look at me once. We both sat in silence and avoided each other's eyes from making contact.

I decided to break the silence with the one question that I was dying for him to answer, " How long have you liked Padme? " His eyes widened with a hint of confusion and I continued, " Don't you dare lie. " The pain that was present when he screamed that he never had feelings for Padme. I decided to shut up and not make an argument out of it. 

All of a sudden, he started to rant. " You know what? This isn't going to work. I can't handle you leaving and coming back into my life. You turned to the dark side, you killed innocents, and you started making accusations against me, which doesn't make any sense. I cry for you and only you. I never had feelings for Padme, even when I was at my lowest. But I can sense that you don't believe me but believe someone else, who isn't me. You run away from problems but never fix them. I'm sorry, but there is no way I can take anymore of this."

Everything was quiet, but I didn't back down, so Then I screamed at him, " You have no idea what I have been through. I almost died twice but was fighting for you, but now I found out that YOU TOLD THE CHANCELLOR ABOUT US!?!? You have some nerve to make that stupid promise to keep it secret. You don't know who he is. " I started choking on my words, remembering it was Palpatine that kidnapped me and tortured me. Tears were rolling down my cheeks and my body was shaking from all the memories coming back. Anakin didn't look at me and decided to walk out.

I screamed at Palpatine with all the pain that I had, " Are you happy that the love of my life just walked out of my life? You tortured me and Anakin trusted you, and you decided to hurt him more. Have you ever had someone in your life that you cared about give up on you? You are sick. " I tried to storm out of the room, but I couldn't move. I tried to scream for help but nothing would come out and I started to panic, " Let me go! " Palpatine was using the force against me. " Now you listen here, you have nothing left in Coruscant. Anakin left you, Padme doesn't trust you, and the Jedi turned their back on you. So, you leave until I tell you to come back. Is that understood? "

My feet were lifted off the floor and I felt my throat tighten up. I couldn't open my eyes anymore. I tried nodding my head to agree to leave and never return. The last thing he said before he dropped my body to the floor was, " Anakin will lose Padme and you will be the cause of her death."

After that, I went to the hanger to get on my ship and fell to the floor. I lay on the floor for hours on end until someone picked me up and carried me to a room. I started to wheeze more and tried to breathe. I slowly fixed my vision on the person who was hovering over me. Obi Wan. I tried getting up and he forced me down, " You are in no condition to fly a ship or walk. You need rest (y/n). " I tried fighting him, " Let me go! I need to leave now! You don't understand! " I cried out loud, even though my throat started to sting.

Obi Wan lets go out of concern and tries to help me out instead of holding me down. His voice almost choked, " What...what happened? " I shook my head, thinking about the times when Palpatine used force lighting on me. The screams, the pain, it all comes back, but now I have officially lost Anakin. Obi Wan sits right next to me and tries to hug me, " Oh...my...force, (y / n) Please tell me what the matter is."

Trying to force the word to come out, " An .. akin ... le.f .. t m .. e. " groaning through the whole sentence. Obi Wan looked down and shook his head, "(y/n), he's losing himself. " I tried to act surprised, but I knew that he was because of Palpatine. He wants to corrupt Anakin, and it's working. The feeling of dizziness hit when I tried to stand up, and I fell onto Obi-wan. He caught me and hugged me tightly. Tears started hitting my face, and when I looked up, I noticed Obi-wan looking down at me with so much hurt in his eyes. When I felt Anakin's presence close, he burst through the door, talking about a mission they had, but he stopped mid-sentence when he saw me in Obi-wan's arms.

"I knew it, " he said, his fist clenched. A big sigh came from Obi-wan and he lifted my body onto the bed again. and I looked at him. " That was a welcoming hello, Anakin. " I could tell Obi-wan really had enough. Anakin walked forwards, clenched his jaw, and stared at me. He then gave his attention to Obi-wan, " You wanted (y / n), didn't you? The way you look at her and take care of her. " I decided to jump into the conversation and screamed, " Like how you look at Padme and how you hug her. Don't you dare accuse Obi-wan. He was trying to help. He got more upset and left without another word.

Sadly, I looked at Obi-wan and said, "I guess this is goodbye." I stood up slowly and hugged him before I left.
