I sat in Math class bored, waiting for Killua. It was the only class where I only had Killua, and no one else I was friends with. My frown quickly turned to a smile when I saw the silver haired boy enter the classroom, with Alice practically clinging onto him as usual.
"Killua, why don't you sit with me today?" She asked, grabbing his arm and pulling him. He didn't budge.
"Sorry, I'm with Y/n." He replied. I gave him an apologetic look and waved, giggling slightly. Alice pointed to the seat beside me and a boy came and sat next to me. He had black hair and blue eyes, but they weren't anywhere near as mesmerising as Killua's.
"Sorry, you're in my friend's seat." I said simply, glaring at him. He just sat there stupidly, not even giving me a second glance. I sighed and stood up, slamming my hands down onto the table and causing him to jump. "Idiot." I murmured, grabbing the white-haired boy by the arm and taking him to the back of the classroom where there was a table for three. We sat down, but of course Alice had to also sit beside Killua.
"So," she said, batting her eyelashes. "What kind of girls are you into, Kil? Is it okay if I call you that?" He suddenly went stiff. His eyes did that weird thing again. I touched his shoulder and whispered his name, but it was like he didn't even hear.
"Don't ever call me that again." He said, blinking once and going out of his trance. "Got it?" Everyone around us was snickering, and I felt a smile creep onto my face. All of this just so he could sit with me and me alone.
"Okay." She said quickly, rather flustered. At this point, our teacher walked in. I sighed in relief and sat back in my chair.
Bisky set us some work to do, and all the time if could see Alice eyeing Killua, a smirk playing on her mouth. I felt a pang of jealousy and annoyance in my chest, but decided to leave it alone. It was probably nothing.
"Killua," she whined, grabbing his arm before I could say anything. "Can we work together? I'm terrible at maths!" I snickered again and the pale boy shot daggers at me.
"Y/n? Work with me?"
"Always!" I replied with a grin. We started working through the questions again, and once again I could feel Alice staring at us. What was wrong with the girls at this school? This was the very reason I wasn't friends with of them.
I heard the distant ring and shot up from my seat. I could finally get away from her. She was driving me nuts with all her staring.
"Let's head down!" I said happily. He too nodded in relief as we headed down to the lunch hall and stood in the que.
"If anyone knew who I was, no one would act that way towards me." Killua thought out loud, looking deep in thought.
"Hmm?" I said, removing my gaze at the floor and onto him.
"N-nothing!" He said quickly, shaking his head rapidly. "Ignore me!" I raised one eyebrow but nodded slowly. Truth was, I really wanted to know who he was. There is always something slightly... Off about him. He's always cautious to everyone around him, but that's not the strangest part. When he walks, he doesn't make a sound. It doesn't matter if he's speed walking or even running. He's always completely silent.
"Ne, Killua, want to play a game?" His head snapped open, a frown creased over his face.
"What game?"
"Truth." I replied, smirking. "We take turns asking each other questions, but we have to answer truthfully." He froze for a minute, as if contemplating something, but then nodded. He knows me well enough to know he's not getting out of this. "You can go first."
"Okay..." He said. "I'll start off simple: favourite colour?"
"F/c." I replied quickly. "Now it's my turn. Favourite food?"
"Chocolate. Favourite fighting technique?"
"Hmm... Probably quick close combat." I looked at him suddenly, a glint of seriousness in my eyes.
"Killua... Who are you?"
