Chapter 22- The x Encounter

AN: the song for this update is a song called Atlas Hands by Benjamin Francis Leftwich. It's fair to say it's one of my favourite songs and it's almost like it was written for Gon, since he talks a lot about his plan to find someone that he lost ( I got a plan, I got an atlas in my hands) and how he hopes that he's sharing the stars with them, which is basically Gon's feelings towards his dad. Also at the beginning it's like he's getting onto the boat to take him to the Hunter exam which is where the whole thing begins, and the fact that it talks about learning lessons along the way.. I can't listen to it without crying now:"( Damn you Gon you emotional lil buttercup>.< Hope you like!^-^ I love doing these lil hunter x hunter character themed songs hehe:3

My eyes widened in shock. He looked at me with his amazing royal blue eyes and kissed my forehead gently, moving a single wisp of hair behind my ear.

"It'll be okay as long as you do what I say. I'm gonna go out there and see who it is, and meanwhile you can conceal yourself with hatsu. Got it?" My eyes widened even more.

"There's no way I'm letting you go out there! We don't know who it is!" I argued.

"I don't care. When I give the signal," he crossed the fingers on his right hand, "run." And before I knew it, he had gone out. I sighed and sat in wait, but if he looked like he was in trouble I wouldn't hesitate.

"Oi, I know someone's out there so you may as well come out." He called out impatiently, putting his hands into his pockets and waiting. After several minutes, I saw a figure come out of the shadows.

"M- Milluki?" He half yelled, taking a single step back. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm here for the auction, of course." He simply said, grinning. Who was this guy? Killua seemed... Almost afraid. That was so out of character for him. "To win Greed Island, of course. I just want to know- who's this friend of yours hiding over there. She's very pretty." He pointed a finger to exactly where I was standing, making me sigh in annoyance. I stood up and dusted off my jeans.

"What are you doing, Y/n? Get out of here!"

"Oh, a little protective are we?" The guy said, raising a single eyebrow. "Who's this girl to you, Kil? A girlfriend?" He took a step towards me, but Killua stood in his way.

"Don't you dare touch her." He said under his breath. "And don't you dare tell any of the Zoldycks about her." The strange guy threw back his head and laughed at him, clearly amused.

"Well, Killua, let me know if you need anyone to look after her." He said, grinning at me.

"I'd rather take care of myself, thanks." I muttered.

"Oh, she can talk?"

"I wouldn't talk to the likes of you!" I said, raising my voice again.

"Whatever. I'll see you at the auction... Y/n, was it?" He gave me a wider grin before backing into the shadows again. Killua exhaled deeply and ran over to me.

"Sorry, that was my brother Milluki." He bit his lip and looked away, shivering slightly. How many siblings did he have?

"Hey, it's okay." I said, putting my hand on his shoulder and smiling. "Let's go back to the hotel, okay?" He nodded once before taking my hand and leading me back towards the house.

"Hey, Y/n. It's about time a showed you something." I looked up, confused.

"Showed me something?" I asked, cocking my head to the side and frowning.

"Here, just jump on my back and you'll see." I hesitated for a moment before I realised that Killua would never hurt me. I nodded and climbed onto his back, and his hands reached over and held me in place. "Hold on tight, okay? This might hurt a little." He looked back and smirked before suddenly I felt tiny electric shocks run throughout my body at a continuous pace. The levels of electricity dropped, and it was almost silent again.
