Chapter 9- The x Zoldycks

Your POV:

I groggily ate up my serial, my eyes droopy and continuously yawning. I barely got any sleep last night. I couldn't stop replaying everything that happened between Killua and I. He looked so cute... Wait, stop y/n.

I reached out and switched the TV on, rubbing my eyes once more. I decided to switch on the news and see what was happening. I was planning on taking the Hunter exam quite soon, but I wasn't sure when. My face was about to fall into my cereal, when I suddenly heard something.

"The killer of Mr and Mrs L/N has been identified as one of the Zoldycks." My eyes widened. The Zoldycks? As in the huge family of assassins that live on Kukuroo mountain? I blinked three times before reaching out, turning the TV off and leaving the house. I threw my keys into my bag and began to walk. I couldn't deny it- I was still scared, but I wouldn't let this rule over my life. I'll carry on and pretend everything's absolutely fine.

"Y/n!"

I snapped my head up to see a little tuft of fluffy white hair and electric blue eyes running towards me, grinning cheekily. I smirked and waved, stopping in my tracks until Killua managed to catch up.

"Walk with me?" He asked, as if nothing ever happened yesterday.

"Sure!" He glanced around briefly before falling into step beside me.

"Listen, Y/n..." He took a deep, long breath. "I'm sorry about yesterday. I-"

"No no, it's okay!" I said quickly, waving it aside and grinning. "It's fine, Killua. Seriously." He smiled gently at me in relief, closing his eyes for a brief second. My smile dropped suddenly, and I stared at the floor. I wouldn't let this get to me.

"Hey, smile more." I heard Killua say, lifting my chin up with his hand. "You're cuter when you smile." My face began to get hot, but he just continued grinning at me. I mustered up a small smile at him, hoping it looked real enough.

It was beginning to get pretty near summer, and I knew that Gon was leaving Hunter Academy to pursue his main dream; find his dad and become a Hunter. Killua was also leaving, but I wasn't exactly sure why. Leorio was heaving to study. Kurapika and I were staying here, still training to become the best. I wasn't planning on taking the hunter exam for about a year (AN:let's say they're all 11 at this point).

"Y/n!"

I was tackled into a hug by none other than Gon, giving me his signature grin. I laughed hugging him back. Looking over, I saw Killua fuming.

"Ne, Killua!" Gon waved. "It's our last day today, right?" My eyes widened.

"Already?" I yelled loudly. "I can't believe it!" The spikes haired boy just smiled sadly.

"I'm really gonna miss you guys." I looked over at the silverette, but he was just looking at the ground.

"Me too." I heard him mumble quietly.

"When we're all Hunters we'll see each other again, I promise!" Gon said confidently. I nodded at him and looked over at Killua again. He eventually looked up and gave us a toothy grin.

"Yeah!"

Time skip: they get to the academy.

I decided to change things up and sit by Kurapika instead of Gon in the form room. Killua came over and sat on the other side of me. The blonde smiled at me from the corner of his mouth.

"Hey, Y/n..." He started. He began to blush. "I was wondering if you wanted to stick around with me so we can take the Hunter exam together in a couple years..." I smiled at him happily.

"I bought you'd never ask!"

After school..

I released Killua and Gon from my grip. I knew I wouldn't see them again any time soon.

"See you in a couple years?" Killua asked, smirking at me.

"You bet." I nodded

I lied xD this chapter was pretty short. The NEXT one will be long. I originally wasn't gonna include a chapter like this, but I thought I should probably right something before the end of the week UwU hope you liked it minna!:3
