After everything was fixed down stairs, I started walking back up to Carlisle's office to check in on Bella.

"Hey, how is she?" I asked walking into the room slowly just in case Carlisle was concentrating.

"I'm fine Nia, you don't need to worry" Bella responded.

"See I'm here to protect you, so I have to be a little bit worried" I laugh.

"She's just getting a few stitches, she'll be fine" Carlisle tells me and I nod. I put the pan of blood down next to where Carlisle had his tools at.

"How are you guys so fine being around blood?" Bella asked us.

"I've been around it for so long, I've built up a tolerance to it." Carlisle said first.

"Well it's just that you work around it, was there something keeping you motivated to build the tolerance?" Bella asked.

"Well I knew that I wanted to help people, and that need was greater than the want for it. Also, Esme was there to help me stay focused"

"Aww that's really sweet, and umm what about you Nia? How can you keep it under control?"

"Since I got the abilities and was technically not transformed, and wasn't bitten, it's easy to not freak out around blood. And since I eat food too, it fills any small craving that I need. But like the rest of my vampire family I'm a vegetarian so it's not hard."

"Wow, yeah sometimes I forget that you are from a different reality," she laughs then she fades to curiosity.

"So you have never have never had blood?"

"Ummm well I have but it's only because Carlisle wanted me to at least try it so my mind wouldn't be scrambled if there's a problem with injuries. So yeah I've had some before but no one was hurt I promise you"

"Oh okay well I guess that makes sense"

Carlisle finished bandaging Bella's arm, and I walked over with the medical pan. Carlisle put it next to the other medical pan that he was using already, and then set them on fire.

I walked Bella back to Edward because I was the only one that could find him when he would hide. Since I've been here we've been communicating through our abilities to read minds. It's been easier to know how much he wants Bella to be protected so he lets me know when she is coming and when he is going to just be by himself.

Right now he's in the attic, it's one of the only places in the house where almost no one goes in. I left Bella to go to the garage to turn on Jasper's emotions back on.

"Oh finally" Alice sighed and stood up quickly, "Please turn his emotions back on."

"Yes Alice that's what I'm here to do" I walked over to Jasper who was just sitting on the counter looking numb. I looked into his eyes and turned his emotion back on, and he immediately looked distraught.

"What is wrong with me? How could I not control myself? I heard all of you talk to me and tell me that it's okay because I'm still learning but I should have been stronger than that" Jasper's thoughts coming quickly and loudly to me.

"Hey Jasper, it's not your fault, you are still learning this way but that doesn't mean that you aren't working hard towards this new lifestyle. You are strong enough to take on this lifestyle" I told him.

Right then and there, I get a vision of him and Alice living a beautiful life with the rest of the family. I smile and add to my previous statement, "And I just saw that you will learn this lifestyle, but that's a given that you would and will."

"Thank you for stopping me, both of you Emmett and Nia. Thank you" Jasper looked at us both.

Alice ran to give Jasper a hug and a quick peck on the lips. "I'm glad you are okay," she said with a smile on her face.

"Why did you turn off his emotions for so long?" Alice asked me with a serious questioning look on her face.

"I had to make sure that all the blood was gone, just so Jasper wouldn't feel uncomfortable" Alice nods, understanding that I just wanted everyone to be safe.

I step back and open my mind to let Edward in but only slightly, "Come talk to Jasper, his emotions are back on."And with that he was in the room in seconds.

"Can someone go with Bella, she's just waiting for me to take her home" Edward asked.

"I'll go" I was about to start walking.

"No please, stay" both Edward and Jasper said that the same time.

"O..kay" I step back to were I was.

Alice stepped up and said that she would go because she wanted to apologize for the party, she just wanted to do something nice for Bella. Before she could leave the room, I told her the Bella isn't mad about the party, that she had fun before everything happened. She smiled and nodded slightly.

Rosalie and Emmett left the room and now it was just me, Edward, and Jasper.

"I'm so sorry Edward. I didn't mean to cause her or you any pain. I should have been stronger"

"Hey Jasper, I know how much this new life is hurting you but you've never done anything like this, and we are here to help you remember. So please don't beat yourself up about this"

"I'm such an idiot"

"Hey no brother of mine is an idiot, maybe a sister" Edward points at me, and both of them start laughing.

"Hey what the hell," I look at them.

"Kidding kidding, we know you are smarter than anyone here" Edward says while Jasper is nodding his head.

They walked out of the room together and I was quickly behind them. I let everyone know that I was going to bed, and when I was going up I saw that Bella and Edward were leaving already.

We were all sitting down in the living room when Edward walked back in.

"I can't do this anymore," Edward says, all frustrated.

"What can't you do anymore?" Carlisle looked up from the book he was reading.

"Letting Bella get hurt, we have to leave or I have to leave. I can't protect her and it's causing her too much physical pain"

"Edward, come on, you can't be serious?" Rosalie asked.

"No he might be right, I'm already supposed to look older than I say I am" Carlisle said.

"Fine whatever" Rosalie leaves the room and Emmett follows her.

"So where are we going?" Alice asked.

"I'm going to Brazil, you guys can go wherever you want, '' Edward says.

"I can't permanently stay wherever you guys go" I told them.

"What? What do you mean? Why?" Esme said with a concerned look.

"I have to protect Bella still and a few other people, as well as protect you all. I can portal back a forth to wherever you all are at but I have to come back to Forks"

"And how will you do that? Where will you stay? What if someone sees you?" Alice asked.

"I can ask Billy and Jacob if I can stay with them while I'm here or I can stay in the house. I'll let Billy and Jacob know that it's just me and that you aren't coming back but I need to protect Bella still. And I'll just turn invisible around Bella and everyone who goes to our school"

"Well honey if you think that will work"

"It will, I know it will"
