Stark Stange: The Protector

It's Christmas today, and the Volturi is coming in four days. Right now, Edward, Bella, Jacob, Renesmee, and I are at Charlie's house with him, Sue, Leah, and Seth. Sue had invited me over more recently because she says that she wants to get to know me more and that she wants me to have more family that I can turn too.

Currently we are handing out presents, Jacob started first, giving Renesmee a bracelet. She looked up at Bella and Bella asked her what she got. Renesmee showed her and said "Jacob made that for you?" She nodded and Bella placed it on her wrist.

"It's a fishing trip for you and Sue," Bella said as she got up.

"Well thank you but I don't think I can take time off of work," Charlie started saying but Sue quickly stopped him.

"I already made the arrangements for you at work" Sue said to Charlie.

"What are you trying to get rid of me? Because it's working." We all looked at each other and then laughed because we didn't No what to say at first.

"Okay my turn," I said walking over to Renesmee, "here chiquita, this one's for you from me." I handed her a box with a white wrapping paper.

She opened it excitedly. We had went to the mall previously, and we walked into a store and she found so many clothes and kid jewelry that she liked. So, we pick out a couple things, but I went back later to get the rest of the things that she picked out.

She saw everything that she wanted, and came up to hug me. "Gracias Tía Nia, i love it all"

"You're welcome" I hugged her back.

"Woah look the little bilingual girl over there. You taught her that Nia?" Charlie asked me with a smile.

"Yeah, I thought it might do her some good to know some Spanish."

"Oh no it will, it's good that she knows it, well that she's learning it," Charlie said looking at Renesmee.

"Nia you didn't have to get her all of that" Edward looked at me.

"No I wanted to. You should have seen how happy she was at the mall the other day" I told him and then I leaned to him and Bella and whispered, "plus the money I have from my dad is pretty much sitting there since I don't use much, just for food when I get to buying it before Esme." Edward just laughs because he knows how quick Esme is to buy me food.

It's two nights before the Volturi gets here, I'm at Bella and Edward's house tonight because I told Renesmee that I would take my hour of sleep at her house in her room, so it could be like a sleep over. I took my hour of sleep and Renesmee is fast asleep.

I walked into the room that Bella was in, she was writing a bunch of letter for Renesmee. She put them all in a backpack with money that would last for a while.

"Hey Bella, is everything alright?" I asked her slowly.

"Yeah I'm fine, it's just umm is Edward or someone else here?" She asked me.

"No it's just us and Renesmee is sleeping."

"Okay Nia I'm only telling you this now because we are finally alone, but Alice left be a message that I would only get because my mind can't be read by Aro. The message was to meet with someone who gave me passports for Renesmee, Jacob, and you. You two are going to keep her safe if something is to go wrong. Edward and I will not be joining you three. I'm telling you this because I know no one's powers can effect you and you can block people out of your mind. Please tell me you will protect my daughter. I know you will eventually have to go back to your reality but please if anything take her and Jake with you. Please." She says almost crying and I can feel all her sadness and worry radiating off of her.

"Bella I promise I won't let anything happen to her." I tell her an hug her. I can tell she needed one and that since she's been keeping this in for so long she just needed to get it out. She whispered a thank you while hugging me and then let go.

It's the morning of when the Volturi is supposed to get here. I slept in the tent with Renesmee while Bella stayed in there so Renesmee could sleep. Today I'm wearing the clothes that T'Challa gave me, I've worn them every time we have had a fight and I haven't really needed it but it's better to be safe then sorry. We are still in the woods, and I called everyone for there attention.

"Okay everyone, listen up please, as you may or may not have known, I have different abilities and powers that seem not from here. And that's because they are not from here. And I'm telling you all this for a reason. I'm going to be putting a protection spell on each of you. But this does not mean that you can't get hurt because you still can. This spell fades over time, and the more you get hurt the more it fades away. Please remember that this spell is an extra layer of protection but you can still get hurt." Everyone seems to understand.

I start doing the hand motions that my father usually does, but this time it's a little bit longer because I have to make the spell bigger. I can't individually do it this time because there are so many people. I push the spell out to everyone and it gets to them.

I start walking to the woods, where I find the packs. I put the spell on them and tell them and remind them that the spell doesn't mean that they can't get hurt. Then I walked back to the tent and put a protection spell on just Renesmee.
