"How is she doing?" Edward asked me as he was staring outside of the window.

"She's doing fine, she's being more active which is a good thing"

Edward looks at me and tries to say something but can't get the words out.

"Stop trying to read my mind, you know I blocked you out" Edward let out a sigh as I finished my sentence.

"Come on please I need to know" Edward let out a desperate cry.

"And I'm telling you all you need to know, I have too much information that only I can know. If I let you in my head then you can see too much"

"Okay fine"

Edward and I sat in silence for a while and then he looked over at me.

"Do you know what it's like when you can't see the love of your life, especially when you know that they could be hurting?" Edward was now radiating sorrow

"Actually yes, I do know what it feels like. And I'm not just saying that to make you feel better," I took a deep breath in and started again. "When I was 17, well actually 17 in my reality, Pietro got hurt on a mission and they took him to the medical wing and they wouldn't let me see him. I knew he was in pain,
I knew that he didn't want to be in there and I was losing my mind that I couldn't be in there to help him. I know this isn't exactly the same but I understand"

Edward nodded and we gave each other a hug. I told him that I would check in on him soon and that Bella is safe. I made a portal and went back to Forks.

"Esme i promise I'm fine," I'm talking on the phone, walking around the Cullen's house.

"Yes I just washed my clothes, yes I promise I've been eating correctly. I eat here or Billy makes sure that I eat as well."

"Okay I promise I'll come soon, but, Esme, I was just there yesterday." We both laughed over the phone.

"Okay, I'll talk to you soon and tell the rest of them to stay safe."

I hung up the phone and threw it on my couch. After a few minutes of walking around the house and turning on the TV I can feel that someone is watching this place, like maybe this reality. But I took another perimeter run making it 150ft this time and there's nothing.
I went back into my room and wrote a letter to my father asking if the watcher had updated him or if something was wrong. And I explained to him that I feel like someone is still watching this reality but I can't tell if it's the watcher or not.

I opened the portal and dropped the letter through but this time I accidentally dropped it on Wong's head.

"Nia watch out when you are portal dropping mail" Wong looked up at me through the portal I opened on the floor.

"Hey sorry Tio Wong, I didn't mean to, I was just trying to get a letter to my father quickly."

"Okay fine just watch it or you're not going to be casting portals near me anymore" Wong said jokingly but with a slight undertone of seriousness.

"Trying to stop a Stark and a Strange not wise, but try me Beyoncé"

"Just like your dads, did pepper not teach you how to be nice," He laughed.

"Yes she did and that's why I'm now apologizing. I'm sorry Wong, I'll be more careful next time."

"Okay good, I'll see you soon. Be careful Nia"

"I will, bye Tio Wong, I'll see you soon tell everyone I said hi"

He nodded and closed the portal. Seeing people from home always encourages me to do better here.

This chapter is a little
shorter than unusual but
hope y'all like it.

I've been trying to incorporate
more marvel characters
talking to Nia more often (that encouragement from home )
