I've never heard Edward's thoughts louder than they have ever been before.

"He better be far away from her when I get to her."

"I can't believe I left her alone"

"I should have been with her"

These and so many other thoughts are running through his head. I knew he was going to Bella's house. And that Bella was with Jacob. I made a portal to the back of the woods of Bella's house and saw that Bella was coming up the driveway with Jacob. Then Edward runs up to Jacob and is standing face to face with him.

They are talking, more like shouting at this point, and Edward tries to throw a punch. I run and grab his fist and I can feel Jacobs hand come up and I grab it. I forgot that I have spidey senses.

"You both need to stop before you turn into a wolf right now and you show how cold you can be."

I can hear Charlie coming out. "I need to go but you two need to stop."

Charlie comes out to talk to the guys and Jacob said that he kissed Bella and she broke her hand after she punched him in the face. They stopped talking and Edward said that he would take Bella to fix her hand with Carlisle. They get into Bella's truck and I make a portal to my house.

I get there before them and tell Carlisle to have his medical kit ready. About 5 minutes later Bella and Edward walk through the door and Edward tells Carlisle everything that happened.
When Carlisle was done wrapping Bella's hand, Emmett and Jasper were talking about how tough Bella was going to be when she's a vampire but Rosalie can't take it anymore. So she got up and left. Bella quickly followed her and they had a long conversation.

It's after graduation and the party has already started. It's just Alice, Jasper, Edward, and me with the rest of the class. Carlisle, Esme, Emmett, and Rosalie went hunting but they'll be back in about 15 minutes. I was with Angela and Jessica and we ran into Bella. Bella tells Jessica that her speech was amazing and epic. Bella and I turned around and saw that Jacob, Quil, and Embry walked in.

Bella walked over first and I stayed with Jessica and Angela.

"The speech really was amazing," I told Jessica.
"Oh good I wanted to hit the right cliches but not all of them"

"No Jess you did it perfectly" Angela said.
Jessica thanked us and Bella came back. She told me that Jacob wanted to talk to me. I walked over to them and he handed me a book.

"Congratulations, Umm my dad said that this book was your favorite and that you might want it. And I thought one of my good friends might want it" He said and I looked down at the book. It was the first book I read when I got here and it really was my favorite book.

"Thank you it really is"

"Hey and I just want to say I'm sorry, you had to stop me and Edward because I can't control my emotions right."

"Yeah no it's cool, but you just need to think more before you act."

"Yeah I'm working on it," he said with a laugh. I was about to say something but I got a vision of the newborns passing around Bella's scent.
I looked up and saw Alice coming down the stairs. I walked over to her quickly and Bella and Jacob and some of the pack follow.

"What is it?" Bella asked looking back between Bella and I.

"You guys aren't going to Seattle anymore?" Bella asked another question.

"No, they are coming here," Alice said reluctantly.

"So they are coming here?" Carlisle asked Alice and me.

"Yes," Alice said while I nodded.

"Anyone we know?" Carlisle asked.

"No, not that I've seen before," I told them.
"Maybe one," Alice added.

"I've seen him before, it's local, Riley Biers," Edward told us after looking at Alice's vision.

"He didn't start this, this newborn army?"

"What the hell are you talking about? What damn army?" Jacob asked.

"A newborn army. Created to go after whatever the person wants." Jasper spoke up.

"We are going to have to get to them before the Volturi does." Carlisle looks concerned.

"We're in" Jacob said after looking at some of the pack.

"No Jake you can't, you'll get hurt." Bella tells him.

"We'll all need some training, do you think Sam can come to an understanding?" Carlisle asked.

"As long as we can take out some vampires"

"Jacob no, tell him that this is a bad idea" Bella tells Jacob and then Edward. 

"If it means extra protection for you" Edward said.

"Come on Bella, isn't this what you wanted us to get along?" Jacob asked.

Carlisle said that he was going to set a time and that he'll let me know to tell the rest of the pack.

Emmett had already started training with Jasper when Edward and Bella got here, along with the pack.

"Can you translate?" Carlisle said to Edward. He left Bella standing there, and Alice and I went to stand next to her.

Carlisle started with the explanation of the newborn vampires and how they are created to only have one purpose most of the time. Edward said that the wolf wanted to know how we are different from them. Carlisle responded by telling them that they are much stronger in the first weeks because their human blood lingers longer in their body. Carlisle then passed it over to me and I stepped forward.

"Okay, so you all already know that I have these abilities, and some of you know what a protection spell is. And it's what it sounds like it's a spell to protect you. I will cast it on everyone before the battle. But don't go thinking you have some extra lives, the longer you have the spell on the more it will diminish, and the more you get hurt the more it will go away. So don't think this spell will cause you no harm in battle. It's just a precautionary measure." I explained and turned it over to Carlisle again. The wolves all said that they understood what I was telling them.
Carlisle explained that Jasper had experience with newborn vampires and that he was going to be the one to train us.
