Stark Stange: The Protector

"Another protection detail?" Rosalie said.

"Rosalie come on" Carlisle looked at her.

"No she's right, you can't do all of this, look for Victoria, and keep yourselves fed" Bella told us.

"What about Nia?" Jasper asked, "she's here to protect so why can't she protect Bella right now"

"She has so many things to do and something like this is going to need to be a team effort." Carlisle said.

"Yeah and plus I can't really interfere with something like this, I can only make sure that everyone stays safe." I added to the conversation.

"So what am I going to do, I can't just leave your alone"

"I wouldn't be alone I have..." she stops mid sentence.

"Who do you have?"

For the past couple weeks we have been watching over Bella, us and the pack. It's been hard getting them to not go after each other but making sure Bella is safe is the priority right now. I have mainly been patrolling with Edward and Jacob but at different times. I also stay around when the others are there because even though nothing is happening between the pack and the Cullen's I just need to make sure. And ever since The Watcher said to keep my guard up I've been doing more perimeter runs. So that's what I do now too.

Today we are at our house and watching the news. Carlisle and Jasper said that it looks like someone is creating newborn vampires. And if we don't go to Seattle then the Voltori could come and see that Bella isn't a vampire yet.
It's getting to the late afternoon now and Alice and Rosalie walk into my room.

"Okay Nia, I know it's crazy right now but we graduate at the end of the week so we bought your something" Alice said.

"I told you, you guys don't have to buy me anything"

"Well we wanted to," Rosalie said.

"Fine," I said with a laugh.

"We know you don't like over the top dresses, so we give you this to wear for graduation" Alice walks back into my room with a simple marble colored dress, that is silver and light purple with some small gold lines going in different directions.

"Umm you said that your favorite color was purple and silver and after seeing your powers and Pietro we know why" Rosalie says and we all let out a small laugh.

"Well thank you it's beautiful" I gave them a hug and Alice put the dress in my closet.

I'm sitting at the lunch tables with Mike, Angela, Jessica, and Eric when Bella and Edward join us, quickly followed by Alice and Jasper. We are talking about graduation and how Jessica is having a hard time writing her valedictorian speech.

"Jessica whatever you write it's going to be amazing but don't write what Mike tells you, just don't" I said and we all start to laugh.
"Yeah Jess you don't need cliches, this speech's going to be epic."

"Epic? How about life changing" we start laughing and then Alice changes the conversation.

"I'm throwing a party" Alice says cheerfully.

"Wow, cool," Angela said.

"Yeah because how many times do you get to graduate high school?" Jasper said with a smirk looking at Edward.

"Umm I've never been to your guy's house" Jessica looked at us.

"No one has," Mike added.

"Another party Alice" Bella looked at her with a questioning face.

"It'll be fun" she said.

"Yeah that's what you said last time." Bella was quick to answer. I can hear her thoughts and feel this sense of fear coming off of her. She's scared that somethings going to go wrong, that she's going to lose Edward again if this party happens. I was about to say something but Alice and I got a vision. It's about more newborn vampires and that they are creating more and they are coming soon.

I think Bella noticed because she the subject quickly. And we were just talking about what we were going to wear on graduation and what we needed to finish this next two weeks.

It's after school now, I'm sitting in my room reading a book when two letters fall on top of my book. The one on top is from Pietro, and I start pulling down the sleeves of my hoodie, well Pietro's hoodie, I don't really need it because I'm both equally warm and cold due to the new abilities. I opened the letter and immediately start smiling.

Hi Nia,

I miss you so much, and u can't wait to see you. I just wanted to let you know that Stark and I are getting along better. And strange and I are talking more. I know you alway so to cool it with my sarcasm around them because your dads do it more but they seem to like it. But yeah we're getting along great.

Oh and yeah why did you not tell me about Wanda and Vision. I'm her brother, don't you think I should have known. I don't mean that aggressively because I kinda know why you didn't let me. So I got to learn how to tolerate vision better but I can work on that, maybe.
Anyways I love and miss you my princesa.

I love him but he's a lot, and I mean that lovingly. He's amazing and I don't know what I would do without him. He's the love of my life and nothing could ever change that.
I folded the letter and put it in my pocket. The next letter is from my father.

Dear Nini,

Everything is good here, I've been talking to the watcher and he says that you've been doing great. He's noticed you doing perimeter runs and that that's good but to let you know it's him.

Your boyfriend has been talking to me more. He's still annoying but a little less, don't tell him that I said that. But anyways I can tell he cares about you so that's good. Tony also said to tell you that Pietro is a good one.

Anyways love you and miss you. Stay safe.

It's good to know that it's the watcher but I'm still going to do perimeter runs. And it's weird that my dads are likin Pietro more. Maybe me being here is making them talk more. I'm glad they are getting along now.
