A while had passed and it was now the week of prom. Alice and Rosalie came into my room with bright smiles on their faces.

"Get up right now," Alice said.

"And come with us," Rosalie followed right after.

"Okay but why" I asked them.

"We are taking you prom dress shopping," Rosalie said.

"You told us when you first got here that you graduated at a young age and that you had around the clock tutors. So you've never had a high school experience." Alice said as we made it to the kitchen.

"So we are giving you one," Rosalie added.

"And here," Carlisle hands them cash, "it's on us."

"No please, I told you my dad gave me money. I don't want you to spend money on me."

"Nia please take it. You have helped us so much already and you are a part of this family." Esme tells me. They all look at me and I finally agree but tell them that then next thing I will get it for myself and they laughingly agree. Rosalie, Alice, and I ran to the car.

"So what are you looking for in a dress?" Alice asked.

"Well seeing as how I forgot prom was happening and I didn't know I was going prom dress shopping until 25 minutes ago, I really don't know" I laughed.

After about looking for 35 minutes, I had a handful of dresses to try on. None of them were working for me, so I looked one more time, and saw this small flat black ball gown that was full tulle and thin straps. I tried it on and it was amazing, it fit perfectly and thankfully cheaper than the rest of the dress. We paid for it and went home. I thanked Alice and Rosalie for taking me and thanked Carlisle and esme for the dress.

It's now Wednesday and I had an idea. I opened a portal in the upstairs living room to my father. I pulled him through to me and gave him a hug.

"Hey my Nini, is everything okay? Are you okay?" My father asked me.

"Yeah I'm fine papá, I just have a question"

"Go a head"

"Well Papá, I've been here for a few months now and I've been going to a regular high school. And prom is this Saturday, so I was wondering if you can pop Pietro in for a while, like an hour and that's it."

"Nia you know we can't do that"

"Fine 30 minutes"

"Nia no"

"Fine 25"

"Nia we can't do that, he's not from here. You know better"

"Well I'm not from here but I'm here."

"Nia you know that's not the same"

"Please, I've read everything about multi-universal travel and it's fine if it's under an hour and a half. That time changes every time someone figures out something new."

"Nia no, that speedster is not coming here, this distance is probably best for you two"

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"Nia, that's not...it's just...you and Pietro...Pietro is not coming here and that's it"

"But why, just for a couple minutes. Please"

"No he doesn't belong here, he's so much older for this world, he's got his silver hair and basically growing a beard already. AND I'M NOT AGING HIM DOWN!"

"REALLY YOU ARE BASING ALL OF THIS ON SOME OF HIS FEATURES, YOU KNOW BETTER THAN ANYONE THAT HE THOUGHT HE WAS HELPING. HYDRA DISGUISED THEMSELVES AS S.H.I.E.L.D AND MADE THE TWINS THINK THAT THEY WERE DOING GOOD. THE STONE AND THE CHEMICALS THAT THEY USED ON PIETRO CHANGED HIS HAIR COLOR AND HIS FACIAL HAIR CAME IN FASTER BECAUSE OF HOW FAST HE CAN GO. THANKFULLY WANDA AND I WERE ABLE TO USE OUR ABILITIES TO SLOW IT DOWN. AND PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T USE THIS AS WHY YOU DON'T WANT PIETRO HERE, EVER SINCE WE STARTED DATING...NO ACTUALLY SINCE YOU MET PIETRO YOU HAVEN'T LIKED HIM. WHY?"

"DO NOT YELL AT ME NIA, AND I HAVE MY REASONING OKAY"

"Fine whatever......you know I have never once asked you or Tony for anything. You both have given me everything. Tony has given me everything I need and stuff I didn't. You gave me my magic. I haven't asked for anything, but I'm just asking for this please" I said with a tear falling down my cheek.

"Nia, I'm sorry"

"Okay fine, stay safe back home, I have homework to do"

I open a portal for him back to where he was last. He steps one foot in and looks back "Nia I really am sorry" I nod.

"Yeah me too, and sorry for yelling at you"

"Stay safe"

"See you later papá" he fully walks through the portal, and it closes.

Little did I know that there was a group of vampires standing at the entryway. I could read their minds, and they were all trying to figure out what to say.

"Hey guys, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cause a scene. I should have told you guys or realized that you can hear no matter where you are in the house. But yeah I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to disturb any of you."

"Nia it's really fine, but are you okay?" Alice asked.

"No yeah I'm fine"

"It's okay not to be fine you know that right?" Rosalie asked.

"Yes I know, I just forgot for a second that I'm here to do my job which is to protect each of you. I can't get distracted, your safety is the most important thing to me."

"Nia you do an amazing job of protecting us, but it's okay to take a break" Emmett tells me.

"Thank you but this is what I have to do, I love what I do, sometimes it just slips my mind that I have to be apart from the ones I love and care about. But the good part about this is that I get to make new friends and family that I can grow to love and care about" I smile at them.

Emmett comes and gives me a bear hug, he has really become like a big brother to me since I got here, so have the rest of them, they've really become my siblings and family.

I think Edward hears my thoughts because I forgot to shut him out of my thoughts. He comes and gives me a hug. Quickly followed by the rest of the Cullen's.
