"Congrats Ms. Mendaveles. You got the highest grade among all your classmates in your project."
I thanked my professor after she told me about my project. Wow! I got the highest grade! All my efforts and hardwork really paid-off! I should really thank Jaena for lay-outing my magazine! Ang galing niyang mag-edit! I should give her a thank you gift atleast for helping me. Something that she can use in her work.
Of course, this wouldn't be done without my boyfriend. Nico had made a big part in the success of my project. Kung hindi siya pumayag na maging model ko, hindi rin ako magaganahang gawin ang project ko. Iba pa din talaga pag gusto mo talaga ang ginagawa mo.
And dahil din sa project na ito, naging kami.
"Hi!" I waved my hand the moment I saw him waiting for me outside our classroom. I immediately went to him and hugged him tight. It's been a week since we started our relationship.
"Looking so happy, aren't we?" He said and kissed my head. I chuckled. "How's your day?" I asked him instead.
"It's good but I can't wait to see you," he answered. Kumawala ako sa pagkakayakap sa kanya. He cupped my face and kissed my forehead. Narinig ko rin ang pag 'sana all' nang ilang mga estudyanteng dumaraan sa harap namin. "So, tell me. Why my baby looks so happy?"
"Sabi ni prof ako raw yung nakakuha ng highest grade sa project!" I said excitedly.
He smiled and kissed my forehead again. "Wow... Congrats! You deserved it."
"Thank you! Masaya nga ako ngayon eh. Kaya saan mo gustong kumain? Libre ko!"
He shook his head. "No, I should be the one who will treat you."
"Sige bahala ka. Basta siguraduhin mo lang na mabubusog talaga ako kasi kanina pa ako ginugutom."
He laughed a little and hugged me again. "Yes ma'am. We're not going to have a street food this time. We have to celebrate your achievement so this date will be more special," he said.

HE BROUGHT me to a fine dining restaurant for dinner.
"Good evening, Sir Nicholai," bati sa kanya ng waitress. "This way po."
I looked around to see how beautiful this restaurant is. Madalas yata siya rito dahil kilala na siya ng waitress dito.
Napatigil kami sa paglalakad ng may tumawag sa kanya. Lumingon siya at ngumiti doon sa lalaki. Mukhang taga-Montalex dahil familiar sa akin. Lumapit pa kami roon at pinakilala niya ako sa kaibigan niya. Nag-usap pa sila.
Sa wakas, nakaupo narin kami sa isang table for four malapit sa dulo. Uupo pa sana ako sa tapat niya pero pinaupo niya ako sa tabi niya bago umorder. Ngumisi ako.
"Sino yun?" I asked after the waitress left.
"Who? The guy? Oh... That's Aki, Felix's friend," he answered.
I nodded. "By the way, what are your plans for vacation?" I asked.
He thought for a while before answering my question."I don't know. I'm actually planning to go to London to visit mom for a week but I'm still thinking about it."
"Okay."
He looked at me at tucked some strands of my hair behind my ear. "How about you? What are your plans?"
