"So, are you and Jaypee are thing now?" Lyka asked.

"What? no, we are not." Hestia answered at naramdaman naman niya ang pag-init ng mukha nito.

"Then why are you so willing to help him, huh?" The doctor asked then moved her eyebrows up and down. "I get it, one-sided love." She declared.

"No, it's not!" Hestia denied.

"Oh come on Hest, Jaypee is a good-looking guy."

"He is." The younger woman agreed. "But it doesn't mean that I have feelings for him." She added.

"Yeah, that's what they said when they first met their now husbands." Lyka retorted. "Yes, I am talking about the three of my friends who are now married and one is engaged. I just really hate it when they denied their feelings at first because it was clearly showing." She huffed.

"Are you speaking from experience?"

"Yes--what? No! Of course not." Lyka defended. "I just really hate it." She mumbled.

"Ahuh, suit yourself."

"Hey, watch your tone, young lady."

"I just fucking woke up and here you are, being Hestia's mom." A new person commented as she joined their table.

"Finally you're here." Lyka groaned. "Hestia, this is Kia. Jaypee's cousin." She introduced.

"Hi there, it was nice meeting the one who swept my cousin to his own feet." Kia joked.

"Same here." Hestia politely answered.

"So, what do we have here?" Kia asked. "This better is good Lyka, I have tons of paperwork waiting." She added.

"It's about Jaypee." The younger woman interjected.

"What about Jaypee?" Kia asked in confusion.

Lyka and Hestia looked into each other before telling her their plan.

"Look, if Gemma learned about this. We are all fucked up." Kia warned then sighed. "But for my cousin, sure, I'm in." She said and that made the other two women grin.

Gemma stopped in front of a familiar white door and stared at it for a second before letting out a breath and opening the lock from the outside.

When she stepped inside, she found a brooding Jaypee in the corner of the room.

"It's time." Gemma whispered enough for him to hear.

Jaypee looked at her before nodding and standing up from where he was sitting. Her superior walked towards him and put a specialized handcuff on his wrist.

"You know, this is not necessary." Jaypee commented when he saw the gadget on his wrist.

"Safety measures." Gemma simply said then looked at him. "I still have 5 minutes before I bring you to the courtroom." She said.
