Chapter Thirty

Two days earlier

"Tell me all that happened, I think I deserve to know." Hestia insisted as they sat around the unconscious body of her mother.

His father sighed as he glance at Danilo. "As you know, I am a part of this organization called The Empire."

"I know that."

"I only joined for security purposes...because of that time...when you are still in your mother's womb, there's a lot of bad people coming after her." 

"Is she special or something like that?"

"Your mother is a well-known doctor back in the day and there are a lot of rich people who want to employ her for themselves but your mother...she is selfless...she chose to serve people together with her friend." 

"And someone attacked her..."

"Yes...and Danilo here introduced me to the organization."

"Does barbiturates is part of your deal?"

"That...is something I will repent all my life Miss Hestia." singit naman ni Danilo. "It was never my intention to harm you...but I have no choice...Yolanda learned that you know where the memory card is." he explained.

"Now...we are there already...Dad...what about Yolanda?" Hestia asked. "Did you know that you have a daughter with her?" she asked.

"I do...I actually support her but she just disappeared without a trace that's why I ordered Danilo to look for her...and that's where I met Gemma and knew the organization where Jonathan is working."

Hestia pursed her lips when he mentioned his name.

"Yolanda is an ambitious person, she wants power and she will get it no matter what." His father explained.

"Hmm...that explains why she's with Jonathan's father." Hestia commented. "Dad...I want you to do something..."

"Anything princess..." his dad answered.

She smiled at that old nickname. "Please leave the organization...I don't want any of this, I want to have a peaceful life."

"Gemma, where are you? you are not in front of the room where I left you." reklamo naman ni Eugine nang makabalik ang dalaga sa kotse.

"Need to take a shit."

"I can't even contact you!"

"I left my phone at HQ."

"That's it, I'm going to report this." Eugine said, done with Gemma's antics.

"Sure, go ahead and drive already dumbass." Utos naman ng dalaga. "I think there's a problem with the coffee I ordered a while ago." she mumbled.

"Are you okay?" Eugine asked with concern in his voice.

"I am, big guy." Gemma teased. "By the way Hestia, I hope you and your father had a conversation about what is happening." she said.
