I was laying in bed when I woke up and heard Greyson crying. I rolled over and saw Derek sitting next to me holding Greyson. I sat up as I felt some pain stinging in my legs. "is he hungry?" I asked squinting my eyes at the sunlight.

"I think so" he answered handing me Greyson. I opened my shirt and pushed it open. I moved him up and let him latch on. I laid my head on Derek's shoulder closing my eyes. "we have somewhere to be tonight" he said kissing the top of my head.

"where's that?" I asked. "restaurant, we're going out tonight" he whispered in my ear. "I'm just worried the same thing that happened the last time we went on a date will happen again," I said. "what happened last time?" he asked. "we went home, I cried in the shower and then told you I was pregnant with Greyson"

"do you think you might be pregnant?" he asked. "I don't know, I might be" I whisper. "is that why you've been feeling sick lately?"

"maybe... haven't taken a test yet but I will soon" I answered.

Greyson finished eating. I handed him to Derek and went into the bathroom. I went to brush my teeth when I felt something in my stomach. I ran over to the toilet and threw up. once I finished I wiped my mouth with a piece of toilet paper.

I wiped the tears from my eyes and stood back up and brushed my teeth. I walked out of the bathroom and went to the bed to get Greyson dressed. I took Greyson from Derek. "you alright?" he asked me. "I'm going to be fine," I told him.

I grabbed some of Greyson's clothes and a diaper from the dresser and laid him down on the bed, I took his clothes off and changed his diaper then put some clean clothes back on. "I have a thing today, it shouldn't take long. maybe just a few hours," he said getting out of bed.

"Okay, I think I'll just take Greyson out for the day, go for a walk, stop to eat. I'll make sure to tell Alessandro before I do though" I told him.

"good," he said kissing me before going to take a shower. after Greyson was dressed I laid him on the bed and put two pillows next to him. I went over to the dresser, took out some of my clothes, and got dressed.

after I got dressed I put my hair in a low bun I picked up Greyson and placed him on my hip. I kissed his forehead before picking up some hair gel and putting it in his hair, slicking it to the side. he was dressed in black dress pants and a white button-up with black shoes. I was dressed in a long white dress with short sleeves.

I walked over to the mirror and looked at me and Greyson. he looked at me and smiled. "you look just like me," I cooed before kissing his nose making him giggle. I put on my white heels and grabbed my bag, diaper bag along with my coat, it was pretty warm out but just in case it gets cold.

I walked out of the hotel room and locked the door behind me. I walked down the hall until I found Alessandro. "I'm going out for a bit, come if you want," I told him before walking out of the building and he followed.

"where's boss? I didn't see him come out" he asked while we walked to the car and he pulled out the stroller. "he's taking a shower he'll be a while because his hair takes forever," I say. he opens the stroller setting it down on the ground. I put Greyson in and buckle him before putting my purse and the diaper bag in the spot underneath the seat.

after some time, I now sat at the table of a diner. I had just ordered my food and was now waiting. Greyson was still in the stroller playing with his stuffed animal. I haven't heard from Derek since he texted me saying he had just left for work, that was an hour ago.

my food arrived and the waiter placed it down in front of me. I thanked him before he left. while I was in the middle of eating a saw a man starring at me from the bar across the room. I noticed him a few times but I didn't say anything.

Alessandro is still here he's standing against the wall to my left. I told him he should eat something instead of just standing there but he said he wasn't hungry and that he already ate breakfast.

I think Alessandro noticed the guy starring at me as well because he kept glancing over at the bar and whenever the man would move a bit he would but his hand on his waist to his gun before pushing his coat out of the way making it clearly visable to the man that he had a gun on him.

the man only ignored Alessandro before getting up off the stool and walking towards me. Alessandro looked at me to see if I had noticed the man as well. I gave him a look saying I would be fine. he nodded his head a bit before watching the man very closely.

the guy got closer to me before we made eye contact. he smiled at me before sitting down on the chair across from mine. "hello" he spoke. "hi" I said giving him a small smile trying to be polite.

"what's your name?" he asked smirking. "Amelia" I answered. I don't know why I just gave him my sister-in-laws name but if he finds out my last name is shepherd and he finds Amelia instead... I'm sorry Amy.

"Amelia, that's very pretty" he smiled. "yes, it is" I replied. "it matched you really well" he smiled. I always saw the name Amelia more of a brunette name rather than a blonde name but whatever floats your boat I guess.

"so Amelia... who's this little one?" he asked refering to Greyson. "this is my nephew.. William" I replied, Derek always says that is anyone asks who I am to just lie no matter what but it's kind of hard to come up with names on the spot with someone staring at you waiting for you to answer.

"he's cute, he looks a lot like you" he said. I smiled and nodded before going back to my food so it wouldn't go cold. "Are you single?" he asked after a few second of silence. if he reconizes me he can't know I'm married.

"yes" I reply. "then what's with the rings?" he asked pointing to my left hand that I was eating with. "I just use them to scare off old men" I giggle. "good to know" he smiled looking into my eyes for longer than I'm comfortable with.

"so can I have your number?" he asked. "um.. sure" I say. I grab my bag and pull out a pad of post-it notes and a pen before writing down a random number. I tore off the sticky note before handing it to him.

"I'll call you" he smirked before getting up and leaving the diner. when he left Alessandro looked at me with one eyebrow raised. "it was a fake number" I tell him. he nods his head. he already knew it was a fake number that I gave him, he's just doing his job.

after I finished my food I got the check. I put the money in the check and closed it before getting up and leaving the diner with Greyson as Alessandro followed.

we made it back to the hotel. Alessandro went back to his room and I went back to mine and locked the door. I fed Greyson when he woke up and he fell back asleep. I built the the bassinet and then laid Greyson in it and let him sleep.

I got into the shower and washed my body and hair. I dried myself off and got dressed into some silk pajamas. I turned off the lights and closed the curtains before making the door was locked then getting into bed.

I was under the covers and almost asleep when my phone started ringing. I thought it might be Derek saying he's going to be out a bit longer or that he was coming or just checking if I got back safe. I rolled over and grabbed my phone from the side table.

I didn't reconize the number. I answered it anyways. when I put the phone to my ear I hear a woman speaking Italian and saying something about Derek. "if your gonna call me can you speak English?" I ask sitting up. "Mrs. Shepherd... there's been an accident with your husband Derek shepherd" she said in a Italian accent.

I listen to what she says and my phone drops out of my hand and onto the floor and my hand goes to cover my mouth.
