Ludwig's short POV:

I got out of the shower and dried myself off. This time period wasn't as unevolved as I thought it would be. I genuinely thought I would be seeing people riding wagons around or something, but nope! They even have functioning electricity in this time period, sick!

I used some of their deodorant on myself to combat the smell of pure volcano sweat. I'm sure they won't mind if I use their deodorant if I really smell THAT bad, right? Well too late now, free deodorant! I slipped my suit on and opened up my watch, that also functioned as a makeshift phone, and saw that I had several miscalls from one of my colleagues, Nick. I called him back as I finished drying up my hair.

"Hey man." I said completely drained and not really wanting to talk to him honestly, as I knew how pissed he would be at me.

"DUDE WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING RIGHT NOW?! You haven't marked your mission as completed and you were supposed to be done and back here 5 minutes ago!" Nick let me know the information that I already knew, as I was now triggered with how they were blaming this all on me now.

"Oh yeah? Well that's because you sent me to the wrong fucking place and time AGAIN! And then I had to take a shower because I was sweating my fat ass off in that suit from you sending me to an ACTIVE VOLCANO!" I scolded him for being so incompetent as I climbed down the stairs towards the living room from earlier.

"I said I was sorry! And I also believe that I did send you to the right place and time." He stated, his voice getting quieter as I assumed I went to go check on it.

"Yeah well you sent me to the two most normal guys you could've possibly sent me to! Well, one of their voices is really fucking deep, but that aside, I don't think these guys are crimin-" I began saying my opinion, only to see a sight that made my stomach drop.

The two were nowhere to be seen, furniture knocked over and shifted around as if there was a scuffle, the dog that they were talking about earlier was now chewing up and destring the memory gun, and worst of all, the time tape was now gone.

"Lud? You okay? Did they do something?" Nick asked me as I did my best to keep my cool. If any of my higher ups were to hear about this, I would not only be fired, but probably fucking dead too!

"Yeah, everything is just fine over here!" I barely held it together, and soon enough I felt the rage in my body build up beyond suppression. "And actually could I call you back later? I've gotta go talk with the two of them right now."

"Sure thing, talk to you lat-" I hung up and let loose.

"FFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!!!!!"

Sykkuno's POV:

"Um Corpse..."

"Yes?"

"The time tape's broken..." I said as I stared over at the broken tape in front me. Corpse's gaze met mine right after we both go a look at it and we both shared a mutual look, a look meant to say 'we're screwed!' The tape wasn't badly damaged, or at least it didn't look too badly damaged. I could probably fix it though, given the right tools and equipment of course. No one really knew this, but along with being a software developer, I was also quite an avid engineer back in the day. I mean, I know it's from the future, but how different could it possibly be mechanically right?

"Oh shit. What do we do?" Corpse asked frantically.

"Okay uhh... I think later on we can get Michael to fix this for us. We can make up a lie about what this is later, but for now we gotta just bide our time, and play things smart. Remember we might be stuck here now, so if we mess things up here like we did the last few times, then we might have to live with that now." I told the hard truth about our current predicament, but I told a little white lie about my plans of getting it fixed. I'm gonna fix it and go back and sort this whole scenario out myself. Corpse got dragged into this, and it's all my fault. I started this, and I'm gonna fix it, all by myself.
