Troll (Short Story)

Sykkuno's POV:

"What can I say? I guess girls just aren't into me hahaha!" I trolled as I usually did to not just my friends, but also my whole stream. Hey sometimes I take things a bit too far with the trolling, but this joke will never, ever get old in my life! It's so fun to see people's frustrated reactions to that line and it really did what made my life feel complete nowadays, which was making people laugh, including myself! Hell, I've been saying it so often that I'm now actually starting to believe it myself. The first time I said it I at least had a bit of hope that at least one girl was into me, but as time went on, my faith dwindled more and more and now? I'm pretty much at peace with the prospect that I'll never find a woman that truly loves me as I do her. I guess, as opposed to what I usually say, I just got unlucky in that category.

"Stop it! That line is so fucking stupid! Girls are into you Sykkuno!" Miyoung shouted at me from the other end of the call. We had just got done with a deceit game and were chilling in the lobby waiting for Imane and Rae to come back.

"I mean, are you into me Miyoung?" I came up with the first counter I could think of and it definitely worked in my favor.

"What?! Ew no gross! What the heck?!" She shouted back at me in disgust.

"Oh, so if you're so disgusted at the idea of even just liking me, let alone dating, then why are you so confident that other girls are into me. Just saying Miyoung. A little weird to just assume, y'know?" I told her as she groaned out loud at my words.

"Well maybe I don't but that doesn't mean that no one else does!" Miyoung clapped back at me.

"Yeah! I have literally seen so many people in both mine and your chat who are all literally drooling over you and yet you've done nothing to take advantage of that!" Leslie inserted herself into the conversation by bringing up something that I've genuinely thought of an denied myself.

"Okay well those are our fans Leslie! They don't actually mean any of that stuff. They're just being enthusiastic about us since y'know, they're are fans! Also bold of you to assume that all of the fans who do that are women Leslie, just saying." I defended once more as I practically trumped Leslie with that last bit right there.

"Well what about that Animal Crossing incident! You know which one I'm talking about! The one where you had like 8 different girls all in your world giggling at every little thing you did. You mean to tell me that THAT isn't evidence of girls being into you?!" Yvonne pointed out as she, like Leslie, came out of nowhere in this conversation. But at this point, I had pretty much mastered the ability of deflecting any and all evidence that they had against me in this topic.

"That was a while ago Yvonne, like literally two years ago. I was really different back then and while right now I may be just a small streamer for fun, I'm a lot bigger than I was back then. They were just trying to help build my confidence that's all!" I defended once more just as Rae came back to her set up. I could hear her running up the stairs and back to her room.

"I'm back!" Rae announced her arrival.

"Rae! Help us out! Sykkuno is trolling again!" Leslie stated which made me raise an eyebrow. Jesus, I really am starting to buy into all of my trolling aren't I.

"Oh my god! What is he saying now?!"

"He keeps telling us that girls aren't into him! Talk some sense into him! Please!" Miyoung pleaded with Rae as I prepared myself to get barraged with sass from Rae.

"What about that Animal Crossing world Sykkuno?! Where you had an ENTIRE island full o-"

"I already brought that up! He thinks that it's just them 'being nice because he was a small streamer' or whatever." Yvonne thankfully let Rae know before she went on a whole rage filled rant and so that I didn't have to let Rae know myself. It didn't take long for Rae to pivot and unlike Yvonne, she doubled down.

"Even if that was the case then that's still an example of them liking you right Sykkuno? I mean we can at least agree on that right?!" Rae tried to justify her and Yvonne's point while I giggled, practically feeling Rae get more and more fired up.

"They weren't actually like into me Rae. Being into me would mean they actually had an affection for me as a person, and you can't really attribute that to any of my viewers. And also, do you see any of those 8 girls still obsessing over me today?" I pointed out to Rae as she let out a groan of pure frustration.

"Okay well what about the dozens of clips of female streamers EXPLICITLY SAYING that they're into you?!" Rae shifted gears and I followed suit.

"They're streamers Rae, they say anything for the views and content." I replied back calmly just to make her mad, and I hear her take a deep breath.

"Okay Sykkuno, say it with me now: Girls. are. into me." Rae tried to condition me into believing that by calming herself down and using a rather soothing tone, but I doubled down.

"Girls aren't into me." I repeated back the wrong thing just to annoy her.

"Girls are into you!"

"No they aren't."

"Yes they are!"

"No they aren't."

"YES THEY ARE!!!" Rae shouted at her highest degree as I was now laughing out loud from how worked up she was getting over what was essentially nothing.

"I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT AT LEAST ONE GIRL IS INTO YOU BECAUSE-"

"Because what? You know you girls put up a whole lot of talk but I'm yet to see any real evidence that girls are into me. The way I see it, the only way I'll believe that girls are into me is if a girl sprints through that door and gives me a kiss on the lips right now." I challenged them for real now, pointing out something to them and giving them an option for convincing me that I knew none of them could fulfill. At least I thought that none of them would...

"FINE!" Rae shouted into her mic with a response that I didn't expect. Before I knew it I heard someone sprinting down the hall and surely enough Rae came bursting right through the door and her speed didn't stop, and I could barely even widen my eyes and say a word before she mounted me in my chair.

"RAE-!" I started frantically but was cut off by her pulling me into a rough and vigorous kiss. She didn't let up at all, violently sucking and moving her lips with little contribution on my end, however she ensured that I couldn't escape from her attack by smooshing her body into mine, effectively sandwiching me between her and my chair. She wrapped her arms around my neck to push my head in further and deepen the kiss, all the while she opened up my mouth and began syphoning all the air out of my lungs before eventually disconnecting. We sat there, right in front of my stream having just made out with each other out of the blue, and as I was about to break the momentary silence, Rae put a finger on my lips and spoke first.

"We are gonna play a nice few games of deceit right now. And then when we're finished with both that and our streams, the first thing I'm gonna do is come over here and shower your whole face with kisses until you admit that girls are into you, got that?" Rae asked as I replied back nervously.

"B-But you don't actually l-like me, d-do you-" Rae cut me off once more by kissing me again.

"I'll teach you alright. I'll condition you into never saying that phrase ever fucking again!" Rae said as she let out an evil laugh and exited my room. I just turned my attention back to my stream with a shocked expression all over my face. The shock was shared by both my friends and chat, both of which were absolutely speechless. The long running silence was eventually broken by Imane finally returning to her set up.

"Hi!....... what did I miss?" She asked all of us.

"You don't wanna know..."
