AN: By the way I consider an open and shut story that's anywhere from 2000 chapters less to be a 'very short story'. Just clearing up any confusion surrounding that.

This one is absurdly short, and that's because it's by far the simplest story I've ever done. I still think it's cute enough to be published though.

Rae's POV:

I was just getting my stream set up all situated and prepared to actually start up the stream. Today was just meant to be a chill Valorant day, no more, no less. However, that was very quickly disrupted by the approaching footsteps coming towards my door. Someone burst through the door and when I spun my chair right round to see who it was, the mystery person was revealed to be a quite upset Miyoung.

"Rae! Come clean up your damn mess already! You've been getting drunk every night and it's always me who has to clean up after your hungover ass! I'm not having it anymore, go down there and clean up the mess you've made this instant!" She scolded me for my lack of tidiness which, to be fair, I've been trying to improve on but clearly, as you could tell, I wasn't doing a very good job. Doesn't mean I wasn't still annoyed though.

"It can't be that bad can it?" I questioned whether or not she was exaggerating all of this. She gave me almost a death glare and waved for me to follow her. As she turned and walked out, I rolled my eyes. Miyoung had such massive OCD, it wasn't even funny. Every little thing had to be perfect around here, and meanwhile I just couldn't be bothered. I mean it's a quirk I could work around, but still something that could get on my nerves, just like right now. I got up and followed her down the stairs, and as we turned into the living room, I immediately understood why she was so mad at me.

I know I get drunk a lot more than I really should, but damn was this room trashed. Various stains of alcohol all around. Couch and chair cushions randomly scattered about. Numerous household items completely knocked onto the ground and some of them even broken. And to top it all off I seem to have somehow broken a bunch of beer bottles in my drunken state last night, as there were shards everywhere. I winced after realizing that she might have a point with this one, and took a deep breath right after.

"I'll clean it all up soon okay? Just let me play a few Valorant games first okay?" I asked for a bit of time and she too let out a deep breath.

"Fine..." She said defeated as we both walked upstairs and into our respective rooms. Just a few games of Valo, that's all I want, and all I need right now. And then I will 100% go downstairs and clean up the living room. Mark my words...

*Time Skip (4 hours later)*

I yawned in my chair as I finally ended my long stream and was quite tired out at the moment. I looked at the clock and realized that I had been playing for 4 hours. Oh shit! Miyoung's gonna be pissed that I haven't cleaned yet! Just as I was about to get up from my chair and race down there, I heard a set of knocks on my door.

I winced in pure fear, realizing how dead I was. If it was Miyoung on the other side then I was just toast. Simple as that. Though the knocks didn't seem all that angry or vigorous to me, so who knows? Maybe it's not her at the other end! Though when a voice that was distinctly Miyound's called out my name from the other side of the closed door, my heart immediately sank. I was doomed! May as well accept my fate now.

"Come in!" I accepted her asking for entry and just like that she twisted the doorknob and entered in an instant. She had a rather pleasant look on her face which surprised me, but what surprised me more was what she said to me once she entered.

"Hey! Sorry for yelling at you earlier I'm just... really sick of having to put back those cushions every single morning! Anyways, I just wanted to thank you for doing such a good job in cleaning everything up! You did so well, everything was spotless! Y'know, if you were to start putting in that same amount of effort into your bedroom, you'd be living like the queen that you are!" She said, giving me mixed signals with both her compliments and insults all crossed together with what she just said.

"Um, thank you?" I thanked her, really confused as to what she was talking about. I never cleaned shit! Did someone else clean it up for me? Who though?

"Yep! I just wanted to say that. Have a good night now!" She said as she walked out of my door, not even bothering to shut it. My curiosity got the better of me and I went right downstairs to check it out. I was shocked at the sight I saw.

Miyoung was right. Whoever cleaned this up did an outstanding job! The stains were all cleaned up along with the loads of glass shards on the ground. The furniture looked more tidy than ever. This person even went as far as to wipe up and clean the coffee table up so that it looked sparkling new. The whole room looked good as new, and as I inspected it further, I realized there was someone sleeping on the couch before me. I recognized the anime like hair and cute ass face from anywhere. It was Sykkuno. He was the one who cleaned for me.

I walked right up to him and knelt down beside him. My intrigued expression soon turned into one of immense appreciation for the sweet boy. The poor guy must've tuckered himself out with how much he cleaned this place up. And all of it just so that I didn't have to do it? He was so thoughtful... and so damn cute too. I hated to admit it, but it was completely true in my head. I've always found Sykkuno to be the cutest and sweetest guy in the world. He was quite literally a saint and in my head would now be considered the perfect boyfriend. It's a shame that we've both dug ourselves into this overly platonic friendship. Seemed like a good idea then, doesn't feel so great now. On top of that it's an even bigger shame since he looked even cuter when he was sleeping.

"Thank you..." I whispered to him genuinely, my heart completely melting and declaring it's owner to be Sykkuno over the kind deed he just did for me. Though my thanks to him rang hollow for me. He was asleep! It's not like he could hear me say it at all! Wanting to give him something a little more special and a little more physical, I pursed my lips, closed my eyes, and pressed them against his slightly hung open mouth. I kept my lips against his for quite a while before disconnecting sadly. It took me a bit to register what I just did, but once I had registered the fact that I just kissed Sykkuno, everything felt so right. I felt all giddy on the inside and happily skipped out of the living room and climbed back upstairs.

Before, I was a bit hesitant on saying I had a crush on Sykkuno, but now, after this? Everything made so much sense to me now.

I totally have a crush on him...

AN: I personally like to think that Sykkuno did a smooth play and pretended to be 'asleep' so that he'd be awaked when he and Rae kissed. Y'all don't have to think that if you don't want to, it's just my head canon lol.
