Fear Pong (Secret Admirer #4)

AN: I pretty much took this whole chapter from OTV's second fear pong video, looking back on it, it's practically a whole recreation, but Sydney, John, and Jodi are all also here soooo...... I don't know, just pretend like that video was made more recently or something.

Kinda flips POVs a lot in the second half so I'm sorry if that's a bit disorienting.

Sykkuno's POV:

"Now that the teams are sorted, it's time to get right into the games..." Brodin had stated, leading us into the room holding the ping pong table.

Oh Jesus... here we go I guess...

"We'll start recording in just a second, I just need to explain the rules to you all first." He started from the opposite side of the table from the 10 of us.

"There will be two teams of five. Each team will take turns having one player try and sink a ball into one of the 15 cups placed on the other side. If a player sinks a ball in a cup, then the player on the other team who's up has to take a punishment from underneath said cup. Players will only swap out once they have sunken a ball, so someone could end up getting multiple punishments in a row. However, there is one saving grace. Each player gets one substitute where they make one of their teammates do the punishment for them, no consent necessary." Brodin had explained to us, though one of us was a bit less thrilled than the rest.

"WAIT WHAT?! You mean I can't just make all of my teammates do the punishments for me when I throw? I have to actually play?!" Yvonne yelled out, having assumed that each player gets infinite amount of substitutes.

"No, of course you can't just do that. Then what would be the point of the punishments? It's still up to you if you want to throw or not, but if you don't want to get slapped by kimchi, I recommend you try your hardest. Bare in mind that these punishments are quite cruel and unusual so choose wisely for your substitution!" Brodin finally stated, as we got ready to do the intro.

"So uhh... who's doing the intro?" Michael asked us, as it finally occurred to us all that we didn't have someone selected to do the intro. We all let out awkward 'ums' and 'ohs' up until Sydney came up with a suggestion I wasn't too fond of.

"Should we make one of the guests do it?" She proposed, causing Rae and I to step back in fear and look at one another, all while the others looked okay with the idea.

"Yeah yeah, let's make Rae do it!" Poki jumped in right after, making Rae stumble back into me and almost cuddle into me out of fear. I too was upset with this suggestion, since Rae obviously didn't want to embarrass herself in front of everyone.

"Wait, no no no, please don't make me do it!" Rae whined, sounding genuinely afraid at the thought.

"Yeah guys we shouldn't have Rae do it! Both her and I are guests here, that's not very courteous to make us do the intro!" I defended the both of us as Rae looked up at me with a grateful smile. I smiled back as I heard the group nod along, saying things like 'true' and 'I guess that's fair'.

"Eh, I suppose I'll do it... how hard can it be am I right?" Lily stepped forward, earning praise from everyone.

"Lily you've been a part of OTV for years and you still can't do the intro in one take." Scarra pointed out as we all tried to suppress laughter out of respect, though it didn't work all that well.

"Shut up! I'll do it first try this time, just watch! Let's roll Brodin!" Lily shot back, quite offended by the suddenness of Scarra's comment.

"All right, let's do it! Rotations will be made in the order you were picked on your team. So Sykkuno and Scarra first for their teams, and then Rae and Jodi after that, etc. Everyone get on your side of the table!" Brodin concluded as we split off into the 2 groups of 5. To be honest, I wasn't sure my team would win this, given how bad I am and how I'm team captain, but looking at our team now... I think we could win this. Not that it mattered much to me, I was still here to just have some fun with my friends, but getting the win wouldn't be the worst thing in the world either.
