"I know you did not just say Mason Carter is not your type"
Axel stared me wide eyes like I just said the most unbelievable thing.

We were currently heading to Captain Allen's office and he started blabbering about how handsome, nice and funny Mason is.
I couldn't help but roll my eyes, he's been talking about him for what seemed like half an hour now.

Mason is a really good looking guy, nice and all but he wasn't my type really.

He's been flirting with me for a while but I don't have time for a relationship.

"Why don't you date him then?"
I said groaning.
"I mean you're always talking about how of a kind and good looking guy he-"
I turned to face him but he was no longer next to me, then I spotted him behind me.

He stood there, motionless looking at me like I had two heads.
"W-what? That's not true"

He snapped causing me to raise my eyebrows In surprise. Then i noticed a slightly redness on his cheek. He was blushing.
I walked slowly towards him until I was now facing my friend and yes, he was definitely blushing and unable to look me in the eyes.

"Axel...do you like Mason?"
I asked with a soft voice.
As he heard what I said his eyes snapped up meeting mine, they widened confirming my suspicions.

"W-what are you even s-saying now. This is bullshit"
He said passing me and starting to walk toward the office again.

I don't understand why he's s reacting in this way, I would never judged him nor his sexual orientation, I would have nothing against it.
I just hope he knows that and doesn't think I'm one of those closed-minded people.
Even tho I am not a person who opens up to others easily I have established a good relationship with Axel over the years and the fact that he'd think that I would not accept him for who he really is makes me.... I don't even know what it makes me feel.

Over the years in here there's one thing I have learned the hard way, which is never force anyone to talk about their problems unless that person tells you spontaneously.
If Axel still doesn't feel ready to tell me about it then I'll respect his decision.

Not wanting to press him further I started walking again and once I reached him I didn't know what to do or say, so I just kept quiet.

Human relationships are not my best as you may have guessed.

Soon we were before the large wooden door that led to Captain Allen's office.
I was about to knock when the door flew open and two huge men dressed in all black came out.
I furrowed my brows trying to figure out who these two men were, but I've never seen them in here before.

One of them winked at me expecting me to fall at his feet dazzled by his masculine beauty but instead I just gave him a bored look, followed by a growl and a glare from Axel.

Men have some serious problems if they think a wink can make me fall madly in love with them.
I swear everyone needs to stop underestimate me, if he only knew what I could do to him he would surely wipe that smirk off his face.

"Soldier Williams, Soldier Ramirez come in"
My thoughts were interrupted by
our commandant. We did our military salute and entered the office waiting for permission to sit.
"Rest soldiers"
Once we were sitting he started his speech.

"As you may know tomorrow will be the day of the recruitments which take place every year.
And this year Mr Nicolai and Mr Damiano Morello will please us with their presence."

Since I reached the age that allowed me to participate in recruitments the captain has always refused to let me fight because cause according to him I was still too weak and I hadn't faced my "loss" openly yet but just cause I stopped crying and didn't want to talk about it doesn't mean I wasn't facing it.
The next year I was "too weak" and the other I was still "not ready".
From that day on I started training my ass off until I became the strongest fighter in this place.
