Sweet Revenge

The next morning I was awakened by that damn siren. I swear it's a trauma waking up every day with that thing pounding in your ears.
After six years of being here, I still haven't gotten used to its deafening sound.

It is currently 5:30 in the morning and I am not ready to start this routine again.
The urge to kill my father for sending me to this place was even stronger now, but hopefully today will be the last day I spend in here.

And with this thought I got up, went to the bathroom and like every morning I stared at my reflection in the mirror for three good minutes.
I didn't dislike what I saw; I mean i love my dark brown skin, I have curly pretty long black hair that enhanced my thin face.
My body is fit due to six years of hard training but despite this I have wide hips and a big ass which is my favorite part of my body along with my slim waist.

Snapping from the staring contest I was having with myself I went and had a refreshing shower.
Then I brushed my teeth, combed my hair in a tight bun with the help of some gel and wore my uniform.

By the time I did everything it was already 6:00 am.
I took my termos with water, looking around I realized how of a mess my dorm is but now I don't have time to clean it so I just headed to the door and as I opened it i was facing Axel.

"Morning peach"
He said smiling at me.
"Morning Ax"
I replied as we started going to our training session.

While we were heading towards the field we ran into Mason.
He's as tall as Axel with the same short haircut but his hair is brown.
I noticed the way Axel blushed slightly but pretended I saw nothing.

"Hey guys what's up"
Mason asked while joining us in the walk.
"Nothing new really"
I said.
I noticed the way he was staring at me but I brushed it off feeling a little uncomfortable. I hate when people keep staring at me, It makes me feel uneasy.

"You look beautiful today Kyla"
He then said. I looked up at Axel and saw the look of hurt on his face.
Even tho he didn't tell me I knew he had a crush on Mason so those words must have hurt him.

"Thank you" I said not looking up from the floor to meet his eyes.
No one of us uttered another word until we were outside.

As it was still early and the sun had not yet risen there was a pleasant breeze which would have made our workout less strenuous.
The field where we always train was completely surrounded by a metal net, that's why I always compare it to a prison.

Upon our arrival all the other soldiers arrived as well, we all lined up and waited in silence for the vice captain Anderson to come.

He was the other man with Captain Allen that night and although we have known each other for many years I have never established a very deep relationship with him.

Once he arrived he began to make roll calls and bark orders. We started with ten minutes of stretching followed by five laps of the field, 50 abdominal crunches, 15 minutes planks, 100 squats and we ended up with 100 tight push-ups.

Usually this would have been just the morning workout followed by an intense afternoon and evening training but luckily today we weren't supposed to do other training since there would be recruitments from 16:00 pm onwards.
As we grabbed our thing and were about to go back inside when we saw two black vans parking in the parking lot outside the camp.
Four men came out of the vans all dressed in black but two of them stood out more.

Axel and I looked at each other before shrugging and continued our journey to the cafeteria of the camp.

As we walked I couldn't stop thinking about what was going to happen later today.

This was my first time doing something like this and I didn't know what to expect.
"You okay?"
Axel asked me as we were walking to lunch.
"Yeah...."
I said looking ahead of me.
He then stopped walking and grabbed my arm gently stopping me on my tracks, making me face him.
"I know you're worried about later but you're the best fighter in here, no need to be anxious you'll beat the shit outta them all. Alright?"

I nodded my head.
"Alright?!" He said again
"Yeah...alright. thank you Ax"
"No need to thank me peach"

He's really a great friend.

When we arrived at the cafeteria for lunch everyone was already there, we got in line and thanked the lady who gave us the food.
I took a sandwich and a bottle of water while Ax got himself a burger and some fries.
We sat with Mason and some of his friends.

I spend most of the time with Axel, I've never had many friends here mainly because most of the guys think they're way better than me cause I'm a female or others can't stand a woman with bigger balls than them.

Fuck them all honestly.

Axel and I were now in the gym training, I actually kind of forced him to come with me cause I needed someone to be my punching bag.

We had been there for an hour now, I was sweating like crazy and the recruitment was going to start in two hours so I decided to go to my dorm.
Once I was there I had a cold refreshing shower, I washed my hair, then applied some oil on my skin.

By the time I finished to get ready someone knocked on my door telling me that Captain Allen wanted to see me in his office.
I put on my boots and headed to his office.

Once in front of his door I knocked waiting
for him to tell me to enter. Soon after I heard a faint "Come in Soldier" from him so I opened the door and as soon as I put foot in his office I was met with four pair of grey eyes.
