I closed the door behind me and started walking downstairs.
Tonight I decided to wear a short black dress with the upper part in leather corset and the lower part mostly in lace; as shoes I opted for some boots that reached mid-knee with heels and as accessories I put my rings and my mother's necklace.

My hair was styled in a loose bun with some curls falling on my face; once I was down stairs I headed for the entrance and passing from there my attention was briefly captured by my reflection on one of the mirrors.
I stopped admiring myself, I focused on the way that dress fit me like a second skin, accentuating my curves, my wide hips, my narrow waist and my thick thighs; I looked at myself over and over again feeling disgusted because, although outside I looked like a doll inside I was a chaos.
I was broken and no matter how hard I tried to cover it up with makeup and sexy clothes nothing would have made a difference.

She's coming back.

A small voice in the back of my head told me and I could only agree.
The old me was trying to emerge scratching on every wall of my heart to make room and bring back to the surface everything; I was on the edge and I knew it, I knew it well.

"Kyla"
I felt something lean on my shoulder making me turn, automatically dropping what was the hand placed on me ending up face to face with Allison.
"Is everything  alright?"
She asked in a whisper, I nodded not even trying to give her a fake smile, not this time.
"We should go"
I said starting to set off hearing her footsteps behind me, once in front of the door I realized one little particular.

How are we suppose to go there without a car?

"There's a...small problem"
"What is it?"
She asked with a confused expression
I bit the inside of my cheek, looking over her shoulder trying to think of a solution.
"We don't have a car or at least I don't have one do you?"
Her eyes widened and she furrowed her forehead in concern biting her lip.
"I don't have a car ... what now?"

"Okay let me think for a second"
I walked away from the door and started pacing back and forth biting my nails thoughtfully but then I came up with a brilliant idea, I mean .... it would have been brilliant only if we hadn't been caught.
"Alright listen, I have an idea but it could be a little...risky"
I carefully observed her reaction seeing how her eyes widened even more, then nodded uncertainly indicating me to continue talking.

"We could steal a car from the garage and bring it back once we get back ... what do you say? it could work"
"What if they catch us? What do we do then? I-no my mother-she would kill me!"
I approached her and took her face in my hands making her look at me.
"If anything happens then I'll take the blame, you now only have to tell me if you're in or out and if you're out then we'll go back to our rooms."

I said with a small reassuring smile so that she'd understand that even if she was to say no that was still okay; after a few moments of uncertainty she looked me in the eyes with a look of determination I had never seen on her shy self before.
"I'm in"
My smile widened further, then like two little girls stealing candy we ran stealthily down to the garage paying attention to the guards patrolling the house and once there we stopped in front of the myriad of cars.

"Which one?"
I asked, turning my head a little towards her but not breaking my gaze from the cars yet.
"That ....one"
She said pointing to an Audi R8 Panther Edition and a smile formed on my lips along with a mischievous look.
"Hmm you have good taste"
I told her and immediately we approached the car, I got behind the wheel and smelled the scent of new car mixed with leather.
I then started looking for the car key that I found on the windshield.

"Let's go"
I said, both of us looking at each other with huge smiles, she squealed in excitement just before I started the engine and drove out of the garage to find ourselves directly in front of the road but we had to wait for all those cars to stop coming before we could leave.
