When our eyes met I felt shivers going down all my body, I couldn't take my eyes off his.
He's really handsome.

"Kyla"
I heard Axel tell me and realizing where I was I immediately did the salute groaning a little in pain.

"Are you alright Soldier Williams?"
Captain Allen asked me.
"Yes Sir, I am"
I answered but he knew me too well after all these years, so as expected he started walking toward me until now we were face to face.

"Are you sure Williams?"
He looked at me with that look I knew too well, so I had to tell him.
"It's just my shoulder Sir, nothing to worry about"
I said trying to shift his attention off me but he kept insisting so I had to do it the hard way.

I held my shoulder with the opposite hand and with a clean motion I fixer it making a crack sound echoing through the office.
It hurts but I barely flinched.

I watched around and saw everyone staring at me like I had grown two heads.

"Shall we continue Sir?"
I asked gaining his attention again.
"Yeah...of course. So you both know that this year our guests are Nicolai and Damiano Morello right?"
He asked.
"Yes, Sir"
Axel and I answered at the same time.
"Well after seeing you fighting today they decided to take both of you"

What? Did I hear him right?
This is not some kind of joke right?

"You'll be leaving later tonight so I suggest you start packing"
We didn't move, neither of us. We stayed there without saying a word.

"You're dismissed"
Captain Allen said snapping us from our dazing state.
We did our salute and walked out of the door, once it closed we looked at each other.

"Omg!!" Alex said, I kept quiet, I still couldn't process it.
I've done it, I'll finally be able to leave this place.

Once we reached my dorm we stayed there for a while in total silence before Axel started talking.

"I can't believe we did it and the best thing is that we'll be able to leave together"
He said and I raised my head to look at him and gave him a soft smile.
He patted my head gently making me giggle lightly.

I then shifted my gaze to the ground and groaned due to my aching body.

"You're alright?"
He asked with worry written all over his face.
"Yeah nothing I can't handle"
I said dismissively, he then nodded giving me another of his smiles before going away waving at me.

I waved back and got in my dorm rushing to the bathroom. When I was in front of the mirror I lifted up my shirt and what I saw didn't really surprise me.

My body was covered in bruises especially on my sides. They hurt, however, nothing I couldn't bear.
I sighed turning on the water and started getting undressed.
Once I was totally naked I went in the shower and started washing myself carefully not to touch my sides.

When I finished I dried myself with a towel, got dressed in a pair of ripped black jeans, a dark blue oversize hoodie and a pair of Snickers. Then I combed my hair in a messy bun and started packing my things.

I still can't believe I'm leaving.

This place has been my home for so long, it's been the only thing I've known for the last six years but I'm glad I'm leaving.

When I was all ready I took my bag and looked around one last time. A sad smile formed on my lips before turning, I was just about to open the door when I heard someone knocking from outside.

I opened it just to be met with...Nicolai Morello.
My eyes widened and my lips parted slightly.
"Can I help you sir?"
I asked supporting my aching body against the door.

"Are you alright Ms. Williams?"

"Yeah. How can I help you sir?"
I asked again, I doubt he'd care to know how I'm really doing.

"I came to inform you that from now on your will be my personal bodyguard. You will follow me wherever I go and you'll have to make sure nothing happens to me."
He said holding my gaze.
"And can I ask you why would you need a bodyguard?"

I noticed the way he looked at my body while I was talking.
"It's none of your business to know Ms Williams" he said as his eyes stared at my lips causing me to lick them without realizing it.

Since I'll have to risk my life for him the least he can do is give me some answers.

Before I could say something else he turned his back to me and started walking away with both hands in his pockets.

The way his muscles contracted under the suit didn't go unnoticed; I stayed there in disbelief.

What an asshole.

An Hot asshole tho.
I thought before heading out as well.
