„Sicheng, why did the doorbell just ring? Did you invite your friends?", Taeyong asks confused as it's weekend right now, tomorrow would be Monday again, meaning school.

Also, nobody told him anything about a visit.

Just as confused, the younger answers from the living room, lying in the couch while watching tv, „No? I'm not expecting anyone, I'll see all of them tomorrow anyways."

Opening the door, Taeyong now can guess what's going on.

„Well hello there, I think I know where you two want to go."

„You think so?", Ten asks back, mockingly with a grin, Lucas next to him also smiling.

„I don't just think so, I know it. Doyoung's upstairs, go surprise him you two. You didn't tell him, right? Else he would have ran through the whole house at least five times by now."

„You're probably right.", Lucas agrees while taking of shoes and jacket.

Afterwards they go up the stairs after waving hi to Sicheng, being told the way by Taeyong, sneaking up so they can surprise Doyoung.

However, unexpectedly, just as they came near to the door of Doyoung's room, it gets opened by the owner himself. For a moment both sides are just standing there, frozen as they look at each other, Ten and Lucas still in the stand of sneaking, Doyoung surprised, even a bit shocked, looks at the two, till now not known of being present in this house, guests.

„Uhm... what did I just walk into? Am I interrupting something?", are the only words which seem to come to Doyoung's mind as he's not sure on how to handle this kind of awkward situation now.

However, against his expectations Ten and Lucas just look at each other for a second, before a smile creeps up each faces and they turn back at him, even start jumping at him yelling „Doyoung!"

Startled the called Person flinches, not sure if he should run in fear or hit them back in self defense. Yet exactly this fact, that he needs a moment to think, makes him stand still. And gives Ten and Lucas the moment needed to jump Doyoung, when reaching their destination they're basically both clinging onto and hugging him.

Something that makes Doyoung freeze even more in motion, he's not used to this, even with Taeyong and Sicheng it takes him shortly to relax and simply enjoy the skinship and affection which he had longed for.

„What... are you...two...?", is all Doyoung is able to stutter, not knowing if he should push those two away or hug them back.

„What, we said we would hug you next time we see you.", Lucas answers, now letting go and patting Doyoung's head with a smile.

„And you didn't get to run away like you said.", Ten adds, meant mockingly yet Doyoung can only feel his heart open up.

His thoughts immediately go, „Whoever will be your partner in the future, that person will be lucky..."

„So, why are you two here? Just asking. Or are there more of you?", Doyoung asks instead, trying to calm his from joy way too fast beating heart.

Ten answers, „What do you think? Your friends are here, have you made any we don't know yet? If yes we would like to be informed about it as well, who and if someone is joining this circle."

Words, as simple and common they might sound, but they mean the world to Doyoung. And make it hard for him not to tear up once again.

He knows it too, he will have to get used to it. Because those two of Sicheng's friend group most likely won't be the only ones who want to be friends with him now, after the new start.

Since they have all become way more open and comfortable around him by now.
