"Are you sure about this, Y/n? Shouldn't we have brought Mina or Jiro for reinforcement?" Momo asks as we exit her limo.
Needing the full support I would receive from them is far too risky. I can't let their safety be interfering with this plan.
"If this person is dangerous as he sounds like it b-by putting this note into this folder, then that means he already knows that these documents were stolen." I confirmed with her, "We're only here to negotiate and ask for some help if they're willing to cooperate."
"..Are you really sure that this is the best action to take?" She fiddled with her fingers, "What if the negotiation goes wrong?"
"And if anything happens.. take the bag and run." I nervously stared at the outside the building, "But if this plan succeeds.. we'll be able to receive enough support and power over my father's corruption."
"I see.." She then takes a deep breath, "Alright, let's do this."
"Do you have the bag with you?" I asked.
"It's right here and safe with me, I assure you." She gives me a brave look as she clutched tightly onto the strap, "I'm ready when you are!"
I hummed in response with a small nod.
We both walked into the building's entrance and entered the lobby. It was incredibly large with glossy white marbled walls and floor as there were red cushioned seats with a nice gold-framed glass coffee table.
The lobby is already more beautiful than what I anticipated it would look like.
We walked ahead to the desktop where the desk lady sat while being on the computer.
She noticed us and stops whatever she was working on to ask us, "Hello, how may I help you ladies?"
"Oh.. u-um, I-I'm here to meet with someone." I tell her.
"Do you have an appointment?" She asks.
I hope that I wasn't be played with.
"..I-Is there any appointments under the name of Y/n L/n?" I anxiously asked.
"Let me see." She goes onto her computer and types down my name before finding a file, "Ah, yes! You have a meeting with Mr. Laito Sakamaki right now."
I softly sighed in relief and said, "That's wonderful! U-um, where may I find him?"
"Oh, you just take the elevator and click the 15th floor. You'll be able to make it at his office there." The woman points at the elevator that is being guarded by two strong men, "I'll be sure to let him know that you're on your way up."
"Oh okay, th-thank you so much!" I quickly bowed and gestured Momo to follow me.
We both go over to the elevator and walked past the intimidating guards. With a click of the floor button, the doors closed as we were moving up.
