"Thank you my dear, this little genius helped in the kitchen!" Father ruffles my hair as I felt quite uncomfortable and a little startled from last night's event.
"Y-yeah.. it wasn't too much work." I let out a small fake smile.
"You are quite mature and lady like for your age, Y/n! How old did you turn? I heard it was your birthday yesterday!" She said, sounding like she was faking her enthusiasm.
"I'm eighteen already." I softly replied.
"Wow! You're already an adult! I bet all the guys at your school just admires your beauty! You are still in school right?" She asks.
I politely nodded as I took another bit of my sushi.
"She's going to graduate very soon. We're planning to celebrate it together on a trip to our family cabin in the woods." My father says.
