Three days after Y/n father leftSpring has come and gone. And just like that, I was once again alone. The time I spent with my father was like a dream. None of it seemed real and yet I know it happened.
Seeing him leave once more, brought a sense of longing to want to go with him, but deep down I knew it wasn't a good idea. So I stayed. And once again, my happy self vanished. Why do I always get like this? Who knows.
Don't get me wrong, I know I have Mikey and the others to keep me company, but it's not the same. Each night, I'm constantly get woken up with the constant worry of knowing will I ever see my old man again. And each morning, I hide it with a smile so that no one can worry about me.
That was until Emma caught on. I was at the Sano's house having dinner with them. As we sat at the table, everyone were in high spirits, talking about their day and what not, while I sat there, quietly. Playing with my food, I notice a certain blue eye girl looking at me from the side.
Not saying a word, she elbowed Mikey in the side, catching the oblivious teen attention. Glaring at his sister, she used her head and pointed to me. Confused, Mikey continued to look at her only for her to grow more irritated. Huffing, I could see Emma lean closer to Mikey, whispering to him.
With a surprised look, Mikey looked up at me. Without a word, he stood up and walked toward me. A little scared I kept my eyes on him, unable to move. "M-mikey, what are you doing?" I asked him, nervously as he continued to walked toward me only to stop right next to me.
Not saying anything, he pulled my chair out, grabbed my hand and pulled me up. Startled I almost fell face first, if it wasn't for Mikey holding me up. With a weird looking smile on his face, he turned and bowed at his family before leading us out of the room and into the hallway.
Silence fell around us as we continued to walk to God knows where. I could feel my arm being pulled as I continued to be dragged. Whatever is going on, I know Mikey will tell me, right?
As we neared our destination, Mikey steps began to slow down. Coming up to a door, that led to Shin's room, Mikey stopped. Halting behind him, my face almost slammed into his back. "Next time warn me when you're going to stop," I spoke, puffing out my cheeks. Not saying a word, he opened the door, guiding us in. Once again, silence fell on us.
Shin's room was pretty ordinary. The walls were painted white with few pictures hung on the wall. His bed was pretty basic too with a white sheet and dark gray blankets. There were a couple pillows layed across his bed. The wooden floors were clean for the most part, except for a few spots of dust. All and all, clean and basic.
Placing me on the bed, Mikey walked away and toward one of the dressers on the other side of the room. Feeling bored, I decided to look around. Hanging on the back of Shin's door was his Black Dragons uniform coat. Just thinking about them, made me think of Inui and Koko. It's been awhile since I saw them, I thought.
Being interrupted, I heard Mikey rummaging through dressers, muttering the words "Where is it?" over and over again. Not sure if I should get up and help the poor guy, I just sat there, watching.
Seconds later, he shot up. "Found it!" With a smile on his face, Mikey turned around and walked back to me.
Not saying a word, Mikey knelt down in front me. Feeling awkward, I just stared at him. With a smile on his face, Mikey reached over and grabbed my hand. The familiar rough texture of his hands sent a warmth feeling inside me. At this moment I knew I was blushing.
"Close your eyes," Mikey instructed. Following his order, I did.
I could feel his fingertips touching my sensitive skin as he claps something cold around my wrist. Eyes still closed, I waited for him to tell me to open. Instead, I could feel his lips on my ears. With his hot breath tickling my ear, I could feel a shiver run down my spine.
In a low whisper, Mikey ordered me to open my eyes. And doing as told, I did. Blinking my eyes to get my vision back, I looked at Mikey then toward my wrist.
There, sitting on my wrist, was a metal chain bracelet. Looking at awe, I could feel a smile on my face.
"You like it?" Mikey asked me, feeling uncertain.
"Like it? Mikey, I love it! Thank you!" I excitedly said as I lunged at him, engulfing him in a hug. I could feel Mikey smile as he nuzzled his face into my neck as he held me in his arms.
"I'm glad," Mikey muttered not removing his face once. We stayed like that for a couple minutes until we broke away. With a flushed face, I continued to smile at him with adoration and love. As for Mikey, he just looked at me with longing and love.
As we continued to look at each other, not sharing a word, I didn't notice Mikey's face coming closer to mine. That was until I felt a pair of lips on mine. Shocked, my eyes widened. What the hell? Is Mikey kissing me? Sure enough he was.
Feeling drawn in, I closed my eyes and kissed back. This feeling felt different. The way our lips moved together in sinc, it was like we were meant for each other. The way our hearts beating together, telling us that we were born to be each other's soulmates.
The lack of oxygen broke us apart. Feeling light headed, I dazed at Mikey as he brushed his thumb across my lips.
"Please be mine, Y/n," Mikey whispered, begging me to be his.
"Mikey," I spoke softly, "I have always been yours."
Smiling at each other, we kissed once more. At this moment, I felt my sense of belonging.
