Current location, Bath house
Third POV:
The warmth of the bath surrounded Takemichi as he sat completely still, his mind still trying to catch up with what was happening.
He blinked.
Once.
Twice.
"Huh?"
He looked around the bathhouse.
Nobody.
Well...
Almost nobody.
Across the bath sat a familiar figure.
Long black hair had been pulled into a messy bun, and a towel rested beneath her head as she leaned against the edge of the bath.
Y/n slowly opened her eyes.
She noticed Takemichi staring.
"Morning, Michi."
She gave him a lazy wave.
Takemichi nearly jumped out of the water.
"Y-Y/N?!"
His face immediately turned bright red.
"What are you doing here?!"
Y/n raised an eyebrow.
"Taking a bath."
Takemichi immediately looked away.
"R-Right!"
Y/n giggled.
"Relax. You're acting like you've never been in a bathhouse before."
"I'm just surprised!"
"Clearly."
She tossed a towel toward him.
"Here. Put that over your head."
Takemichi caught it.
"Why?"
"Because you're panicking."
He reluctantly placed it over his face.
"Happy?"
"Much."
Y/n stood and headed toward the showers.
Takemichi remained perfectly still.
Then—
Bubble.
He looked down.
Another bubble rose from the water.
