~Y/n
Y/n is not just an average high schooler; she's Mikey's heart and soul and is known as the Deity of Tokyo. As she continues to live her life out, as normally as possible, Y/n finds herself falling for a...

Third POV:
After Y/n left Mikey standing beside her mother's grave, there was only one person she could think of calling.
Mitsuya.
She needed someone who wouldn't judge her. Someone who wouldn't tell her what she should or shouldn't feel. More than anything, she needed someone who would simply listen.
The moment Mitsuya answered the phone, the sound of his familiar, soothing voice was enough to make the dam holding back her emotions finally collapse.
Y/n cried.
She cried until her throat hurt and her chest ached. Every time she tried to speak, her voice trembled, forcing her to pause and collect herself.
Mitsuya didn't interrupt her.
He simply listened.
Y/n told him everything.
She told him about Mikey. She told him about their decision to take a break. She explained how much it hurt, even though she knew deep down that perhaps it was what they needed. She told him how betrayed she felt and how guilty she felt for being angry with Mikey.
And through it all, Mitsuya remained on the other end of the phone.
Listening.
Comforting her.
Being the shoulder she desperately needed.
What Y/n didn't know was that every shaky breath and broken sob was hurting Mitsuya more than he would ever admit.
Deep down, Mitsuya knew Y/n wasn't his.
Her heart belonged to Mikey.
Everyone knew that.
Even Mitsuya.
Yet whatever feelings he had for her refused to disappear. He couldn't simply turn them off because she belonged to someone else. Instead, he made a silent promise to himself.
He would do whatever he could to make sure Y/n was loved the way she deserved.
Even if that love came from Mikey.
Even if it never came from him.
The thought of competing with Mikey for Y/n's heart made Mitsuya feel pathetic at times. Mikey wasn't just his commander.
