"HAKKAI?!"

Meanwhile, somewhere else inside the church, an entirely different battle was taking place.

In a room near the uppermost part of the building, Chifuyu was discovering exactly how badly things could go wrong.

His opponent?

Hanma Shuji.

And unfortunately, Hanma wasn't alone.

Kisaki stood nearby, watching everything unfold with his usual unsettling calm.

Chifuyu struggled against Hanma's grip as the taller teen repeatedly pulled the sash wrapped around him, using it to restrain him against one of the church's stone columns.

"Hold still, damn it!"

Hanma yanked the sash again.

Chifuyu fought back harder, twisting his body and trying to free himself.

Despite being restrained, he refused to make things easy.

Hanma gritted his teeth.

"Would you quit moving?!"

Chifuyu answered with another furious struggle.

Kisaki simply watched.

He didn't move.

He didn't help.

He merely stood there with his hands in his pockets, observing the scene as though he were watching an interesting experiment.

Finally, after several more attempts, Hanma managed to secure the restraints.

He stepped backward and exhaled.

Sweat trickled down his face, stinging the fresh marks left from Chifuyu's earlier resistance.

Hanma wiped his forehead with the back of his hand.

"Bastard really put up a fight."

Chifuyu glared at him.

His mouth had been covered, leaving him unable to properly voice his anger.

Hanma looked down at his handiwork with a satisfied grin.

Then he turned toward Kisaki.

The two started toward the doorway.
